CHOGM 2024 | Highlights from Day 4

On Day 4 of CHOGM 2024, the Commonwealth’s women leaders gathered to advocate for the health and well-being of all women and girls.
Dignitaries at the meeting included the Prime Minister of Samoa, Hon Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa; the Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC; and Her Majesty The Queen.
Member countries met to discuss the Commonwealth Ocean Declaration. Expected to be adopted shortly, the Declaration aims to boost financing for a healthy ocean.
Elsewhere, youth leaders met with heads of government and senior officials at an intergenerational dialogue.
They voiced priorities such as climate change, education and health on behalf of the Commonwealth's 1.5 billion young people.
