I was at a school with RULES so no one would have anything that might make another child jealous...uniforms, school notebook paper, pens and pencils...only school engraved that we had to purchase in the office. ONE blue 3 ring and 4 PeeChee folders...and ONLY PEE CHEE YELLOW FOLDERS..... Nothing was nicer than setting up our homework desk at home with pencils and pens we WANTED , big boxes of crayons....markers were not a thing, but colored pencils were. I always got a 48 or 64 count of crayons for my birthday( August)....but it was truly the community crayon box for the new school year for my sister and I to use. CRAYONS ARE A THING! Love your rooms.
What an awesome thing that was. Not in our school. :/ There were the 'rich' beautiful kids, the invisible ones, the 'bad' kids, the poor....the list goes on. I was one of the invisible ones. Always yearning to have a box of crayons!!! LOL! Funny that....I had a quite happy childhood, playing in the woods, exploring etc., but never got my crayons!!! LOL! LOL!
Very organized. Youre definitely blessed with a handy husband. One of these days I'll show my humble shared sewing space. I do have a large craft "storage" room, though, that I am grateful for. Everything was changed around when we moved after hubby retired. But, I love it. Enjoy your new organized space!
You have such a wonderful positive attitude. Love watching your videos and seeing always so happy, spreading joy. Love the crayon story. As children we probably all wished for something that someone had.
Hi Jean your rooms look fab, so cosy and comforting and it's so nice to have a little bit of your old home worktop in your new home, bringing you lots of happy memories.I bet Ian isn't happy unless he's working at something. Love from Ireland xx
Hardly recognized Ian! He has lost a lot of weight and is even more handsome! Lucky you, Jean. So nice to hear you happy and healthy again. Take good care.
Dear Jean, how nice to hear you so excited and upbeat about your sewing rooms, you are indeed blessed. You had your crayon envy but I have now got fabric envy, what a lot of beautiful fabric you have. Hope you get the pleasure you deserve out of your reorganised rooms. Love to all the Trueloves 🏴
My sister had a thing about crayons. When she got older, I gifted her with a new large box, with the sharpener! and she loves it still. She'll let little children color with them, but they have to be very careful and not break any. She's very protective:0 Your sewing rooms are really beautiful and colorful!! We have a split lever home and I have finally gotten to take over the lower third. Took until retirement.........but I am VERY lucky indeed!!
What beautiful and creative sewing rooms you have had along the way up to your current rooms. I love that Ian is so handy and helpful. Your current rooms seem to have a lot of windows that bring in the daylight and lots of opportunity to daydream. Thanks for giving us a tour, Jean.
Thank you for a delightful peak into your sewing havens. Don’t we feel blessed to have so much fabric, rulers, scissors, etc. all very usable! “God, please give us many days of happy sewing!”
What a lovely tour of your sewing rooms Jean. I think I might just have a smidgen of sewing room envy! Seriously though what lovely spaces to spend time in surrounded by all your fabrics and treasures. I don't have a separate space for my sewing so my poor husband Ian spends most of the day constantly moving his paper or crossword book off the dining room table as we only have tiny rooms in or "retirement" bungalow. Thankyou so much for sharing.
Aw, I wish I could snap my fingers and be able to create a special space just for you!! Anyway, WHEREVER you can create, if only sitting on a sofa with needle and thread, it's all good!:) Hugs!!
Your sewing rooms are awesome you're so lucky to have one. My favorite one is the one on Davis Road it was so bright and a vintage feel to it. Thank you, Jean, for the tour. Happy sewing. I also loved the story about the boxes of crayons I remembered you saying that story before.
You are very blessed!! I just got rid of a queen bed in my daughter’s old bedroom to make room for all my machines, fabric , tables and all things crafty!! Love my new sewing area!( and your videos)!
Enjoyed seeing your happy place, Jean. Yes, you are b lessed, blessed, blessed! At 76yo, I'm downsizing my fabric for quilting and garments and misc projects. It's amazing how much I have. A family or friend asks for a favor like curtains etc and I don't even need to go shopping. My ex-husband is from London and he used to say: "you are so materialistic" - lol! But I love fabric of all types. We create because we are created. Glad you are all feeling better. 😀
Wonderful! I love that - 'we create because we are created'!! How so so very true!! Nature is the most glorious of palettes!! Hugs!! Thank you so much:)
Thank you for sharing your sewing rooms and stories. I love to join you on you adventures. I have learned much and look forward to learning more. Keep the stories coming. I loved the crayon story. Too cute, and now all those treasured crayon packages. Thank you and your family for sharing your life with us. In this time of so much stress, turmoil and uncertainty, I can always tune into your home and be brought back into a special place, a serene place, a loving place. Thank you again for being there for all of us. ❤❤❤
Aw thank you for that!! Life OUT THERE is very crazy and uncertain, and even more so at the moment. Please keep safe and take care! Anything to take our minds off the state of the world!!
Love your new room. It’s great and I’m sure you’re gonna enjoy many happy hours of sewing in it. I love my sewing room even though it’s pretty small. It’s where I go to escape chaos and when I get a creative idea. It keeps me happy.
I love a new box of crayons I have embroidery project where you color in parts of the words then embroidery the words love your rooms they look so cozy looking forward to the next video glade all three of you are doing well
Jean, I loved seeing your sewing spaces! I sure could use your help in mine!! Your Baby Lock has a great throar area. I remember receiving a 64 Box of Crayons. Loved it.😊
I love to organize...but don't worry I'm not OCD or anything like that! Just love to have a good old clear out and rearrange stuff!! LOL! Never know what I will find! I would love to help you! :) AND you lucky gal....the 64 box!?!?!?! WOW!!
So much stuff!! LOL! I am a very controlled hoarder - minus the dead petrified cats in under the floor!! LOL! My motto - Too Much Is Never Enough!! LOL
Jean, your butcher block table is amazing as well as the man who installed it. I too am very lucky to have a husband who can make things to improve my needs, I consider myself very fortunate. So Jean I’m happy for you to have such a wonderful husband. Your sewing room is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. 👍❤️😊
Yes you are truly blessed to have such beautiful sewing rooms. I am so happy for you you have been through so much. I remember your older sewing rooms. Love the butcher block table tops. Just looking at your fabric is there ever any time you need to order fabric? Lol. It's oh so beautiful. I could just look at this video forever. It's so organized.
Thank you so much Linda:) I only purchase new fabric, now and then as a treat, as I still love all the things I have - even though some are decades old!! I am one of the luckiest around!!
What a happy sewing room love all tables and shelves You are blessed to have a Ian that makes shelves and tables ❤ And enjoyed your videos every time💕 Love to all of you from Sweden 🇸🇪
Yes, you are truly blessed my friend. 👍😊 I know a ton of work was involved, for sure. I can relate to the crayon story. All my friends had tons of crayons, I had a tiny box. All my friends had Barbie Dolls, I never owned the first one. That’s OK, I played with theirs. 😊 They never minded. Thanks for the nice video, I enjoyed it so much! Take care! ✌️🙋🏻♀️ 🥰
I am one of the luckiest blessed people around - I know that!! LOL! I NEVER had a Barbie....but didn't really care as I had 5 older brothers and we grew up outside in the woods we lived in. I swear we were raised by wolves!! LOL!! We were ALWAYS outside playing and exploring! Not much time for dolls. But I made up for it...I gave birth to 10 living dolls to play with!!! LOL! AND got my crayons...eventually!!
What a beautiful room. If I would do anything like that, it would look a freight! You have the touch…gorgeous. Thanks for the reminder of your batik boxes, I was recently asked to make someone one! Now I know where to find the tutorial. Thank you! Hubby looks a bit thinner. Hope he’s feeling well. In fact hope all of you are doing well💕
There was never a better gift than new crayons! I still like them! In fact the other day i was thinking of printing out some mandalas for doing just that to relax me.
Love the tour. Makes me miss my sewing room. It was only a 10 x10 but it was mine. We moved into a travel trailer and added a bedroom but no sewing room. Disappointed . My area is in the tip out part that is 4x12 room the kitchen table and my sewing cabinet is all I can fit. All the fabric and stuff I didn't get rid of is in the bedroom on shelves and under the bed. I had a ton of sewing stuff. My daughter got alot so I can go to her house and rummage through it LOL. She calls me an Indian giver. I'm still making quilts It is a little difficult but I manage it. Love Your work
It’s always nice to get organized! Mine is horrendous right now. In fact, my little asked me if I was a hoarder, lol. I just need a bigger room for all my stuff.
We are both 'hoarders' - only with no dead petrified cats buried under a ton of newspapers!! LOL! I'm proud to be a collector - i.e, hoarder!! LOL! More is NEVER ENOUGH!!
Jean, I love your new set up! Like you I had the 12 or 24 pk of crayons & would drool at the girls that got the big pack with sharpener! Love your tour of the sewing room! Sometime I want to show you mine.
That sharpener!! You KNOW you were something else if you had the sharpener!! LOL! I would love to see your room! Ian will talk about it if you send in pictures to: Truelovequiltsforyou@gmail.com
Hi Jean. I remember all of your rooms as I started watching you when you were in your family home. All of them are so beautiful. But especially your crayon collection. I am a bit jealous though. I think I got a 64 box once when I was about 13!! lol. Enjoy every minute to get to do what you love. It is a gift, isn't it? Love TO the Trueloves. ALL of you!!!! 😘😘😘
It was a miracle how we found this home...after we were basically rendered 'homeless/houseless' for many months after the disaster. we are very blessed indeed.
I first found your channel through the fabric bin video. Thank you for the room tour. It's fun to see all of the family memories spread throughout the space. I love all of the natural light that you have.
How nice Jean. Nice hubby can do anything for you. My hubby could do that, but now has bad shoulders and can't do much now. He loves to shop our Giant Eagle store has a good buy on flour, sugar, dark brown sugar and powder sugar, if you buy 4 each is .99 so he spent close to $100 on all that for me and my daughter and son to bake. Its such a good deal, but I said we have no room to store all that. He keeps buying stuff to stock up. You never know what the future holds. Praying for our country. Thank you Jean for what you do, you are so kind. Hugs for you.
Aw Donna, you have a good man too:) Such a sweetie to get deals...even though you don't have the space!! LOL! LOL! It's good to have a stock..as you say, in this unstable crazy world, we never know when we will have to hunker down and fend for ourselves for a while!! Take care!! Hugs:)
I can identify with your crayon story. Our family was of modest means. And I was always envious of the kids with the box of 64 crayons. I finally bought the large box for my nieces and nephews to color with when they came to visit.
Love your bowl from your recent story on the cutting table! And I had the same crayon envy when I was young too. Couldn’t wait to buy my own box with the sharpener! 😂 What amazing rooms! I think the biggest blessing is to have Ian’s support to honor your talent with his projects. That is so very special. ❤
My precious bowl! My crayons. My bits and bobs. All of them make me smile!! It's the little things:) Thanks for taking time to watch me:) And yes, I am very very lucky to have such a good family and man supporting me:)
I can relate to the crayons. But, my mother saved our crayons every year, and put them in a giant metal coffee can. My friend and I would color a lot. My Dad would being scratch paper home from work. It was nice heavyweight paper. We would spend all day painting in her garage, hanging our paintings up to dry. One year I got a big package of crayons for Christmas. I was so thrilled! I was quite good in art class. That made it easy for birthday gifts 😊 I totally understand the crayons.❤
Jean, if You only knew how much I enjoy your videos-I have a smile on my face from ear to ear just listening to your sweet voice and engaged with your conversation! I too, used to live on a street called Charter Road in Selden, Long Island, New York! I loved that house-We had an enormous Weeping Willow right in the center of our front yard.My Brother and I and our friends used to hide inside the beautiful draping leaves from our parents when they wanted us to stop playing and go in for dinner, lol ! Brought back some great memories! Thank You for All You Share! Your rooms and home are absolutely Stunning!
Good old Charter Road!! LOL! Fond lovely memories! :) It's funny about the Willow Tree you grew up with....I too had one...hiding beneath the willowy fronds, in another world!! Great times:) thanks for watching me:)
Oh I love your hair!!! Your sewing room looks fantastic, so much room. Both of your rooms are beautiful. I love how you use every nook and cranny!! I bet you will enjoy sewing so much more now.
Thanks for the tour Jean! Your sewing rooms are so cozy and inviting! What beautiful rooms to spend your time in! The new/old table is awesome! I’m so happy to see Ian fixing things again, he looks like he’s feeling better. ❤❤❤
Thanks Sondra:) We are taking one day at a time. Maxwell had another bad day yesterday.....we are trying to sort out his new medication. Always something.
@ I’m sorry Maxwell is still struggling, please give him our love and hugs!!🤗 Ethan and I spent a long time at the DMV yesterday to get him a state ID. He did really well, and the workers were patient with his layers of gloves. He does try to do as much of it himself as he can, just had to peel gloves off until he could work the touch screens and then remove them to give his thumbprint. Since the pandemic I have to admit feeling more sensitive to the germs in places like that myself 😳 The Kingdom Hall is always so clean and we know our brothers and sisters don’t come when they are sick so we can feel pretty safe about it there. What a blessing! 🩷🩷🩷
@@sondrabrown442 Oh our dear boys. How we long for all these issues to be resolved, and soon please!! Since the neurologist changed medications, Maxwell has had 6 seizures. Thank goodness Melea is such a help - she does most of the doctors visit down in Philly and is on the phone getting info, etc. I did it all for the first 20 years - its' nice to have her step in. It's all just so exhausting. And the state of this world...thank goodness we stay well away from the fray!! We have all our meetings on Zoom this week as well as field service (Ian took the Zoom group this morning). Better to stay safe! Crazy world! Prophecies!
Had to stop the video because I was laughing so hard over your crayon story!! I was envious of a friend who had the 48 size box. My grandmother managed a 5 & dime store at the time & she purchased the “ big box” for me for my birthday with her employee discount! What a sweet memory ❤️ Your sewing rooms are heavenly! Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you & your family .
Thank you so much for the sewing rooms tour. I often think back fondly to when I first found you on youtube at the family home where your sewing room was in the garage. I was thrilled as we were both using our large computerized brother machines. Your sewing room inspired me greatly and I loved watching your videos. You made quilting fun because you weren’t like some of the “quilting police” type videos I was finding to teach me how to quilt. Those women made me a nervous wreck and zapped the joy out of the creative process. I was very blessed to not only find you but meet you several times at quilting shows around our area. Thank you again Jean for all the happy years of memories.
Aw thanks Jill! You have been with us all along the way, through the ups and downs, ins and outs!! Thank you for your loyalty and friendship! Love to Kelvin:) Ian and I WILL get out to Shady Maple one day....we'll get in touch so we can meet up!! Hope you are well. Life throws us curveballs....keep well and take care! Hugs!!
Jean, I had to smile about your crayon story. It brought back memories of when I was just a little girl in the 2nd grade "I'm 83 now" 😊. There was a girl in my class who had these pretty long blond braids that I was so envious of. I had brown naturally curly hair and I really wanted my hair to be in braids like hers so I finally convinced my mother to braid my hair and wouldn't you know they just wouldn't hang straight because my hair was too curly. I was so disappointed that my braids didn't look pretty like hers so I had to give up on that idea😢. We went all through school together and I don't think I ever told her about my fascination with her braids when we were in elementary school. My hair is white now though.😊 I'm glad your sewing room is turning out so beautifully. My grandson enclosed my back patio as a sewing room for me and it's really nice. I'm still trying to get it organized. I'll get there eventually but I'm a little slow now at my age. May God's blessings be upon you and your family.
I can't believe your story....My 'idol' was a pretty girl with long blond braids too!! Linda.....!! I was a tomboy with short straight mousy brown hair, the youngest with 5 older brothers. My mom dressed me in practical, but plain, clothes. 'Linda' had beautiful dresses, bows in her hair, pretty book satchels, AND her CRAYONS!! LOL! Isn't it funny how you look back on things?!?! LOL! Hugs!! Take Care Wilma!!
Love your reorganized sewing room and fabric room. Thank you Ian for using your skills to make such a wonderful space for Jean. I am in the process of reorganizing my sewing space and struggle to find someone to just make some straight cuts from some wood that I have. Look forward to seeing your future videos. Glad you both are sounding and feeling better. Keep well.
Hi Jean & Ian! I love your new-old table base-so pretty 🥰🥰 Yes, the guys are so handy to have around 🤣🤣 I love the rooms you have now, but I think my favorite is Davis Grove!! Thanks again for another tour!! Is that one Brother a Project Runway? When I retired the first time in '11 & was going to fly up to North Carolina to stay with Randy a few weeks, I told him I wasn't going to take my Baby Lock & worry about something happening to it. He said, "when you get here, we'll go to Walmart & get you something to use while you're here". We got me a Project Runway & I love it. I had a perfect setup in his travel trailer.
Thanks Marla:) My Brother machine is a monster of a machine, that has since bit the dust. I used this machine, my VQ3000 for many many years and millions of stitches, that the motherboard finally gave up the ghost. I mourn that machine, because I would have to say it was one of the best machines I've ever had. Someone DID say to try to get it fixed, but the repairs are too expensive. So far, I like the Jazz 11:)
I’m loving your sewing room tour. Love your antique table that you found in the attic. I love old things. I watched your video of the batik boxes and I’ve made several of them. They get used everytime I sew. Thanks for making that video.
Dear Jean, I loved the tour of your sewing rooms!❤ A quick question. Have you ever had the Juki Industrial sewing machine? I sewed Industrial many, many years ago, for many years on one. I then went in to do secretarial work, but after retirement, I bought a Juki Industrial. It's straight stitch only but will sew anything. I made many purses on it for a while. Love it. I have what I call my fancy stitch machine, also. As you know, we ladies need more than one, and they all have there job to do.😊 You have a wonderful display of fabrics, and your quilting talent is way beyond where mine is. I'm a newbie to quilting, and your videos are a treasure trove of experience for me to draw from. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us all, LC (or Elsie as some people call me!)
I don't have any industrial machines, mainly because I have no space for one. But the Sailrite that I have has made many a sturdy bag, luggage really, that I use a lot:) Thanks for taking time to watch me LC (Elsie...what a sweet name! :)
You can do it! I tackle one corner at a time and work out from there...putting everything behind me. I find that when I see progress in one spot, I get excited to finish the rest! All the best:) And happy hunting! You will find stuff you forgot you had! Hugs:)
Ian and your children enjoy your creations so much, they will do anything for you. My daughter started a new business, part of which is selling my creations. It's been a learning experience. Each Renaissance Faire, and craft fair has been so different. Each sale people couldn't get enough of 3-4 items. Luckily we had a lot of what people wanted. But, I have 1 large sale every year. It's a fundraiser for our local music boosters. I was an avid musician and have tutored many classmates and students as the years went on. I've had a neurological problem, and now I can't get my fingers to listen to what I'm telling them. Quite frustrating... but I can still sew and use my equipment, except for free motion quilting. Much like playing music on the piano or violin, my hands don't communicate with my head. But, I can watch a tutorial and make whatever catches my eye. I've yet to buy a pattern. Color and completing projects are very satisfying for me. Sewing truly is my therapy. I love color! I don't have nearly as much fabric as you, but I don't have a RUclips channel either. My daughter does have a budget for operating costs, so she can help there. I've been saving every scrap of fabric, and make all kinds of things. 😊❤ You are blessed to have your Ian. He adores you. ❤
Jean thank you so much for sharing you are AWESOME to listen to and watch. Did you make the boxes on the top shelf in your 2nd sewing room? If so is there a video?
Thanks Laura!! No, the 'cubes' on my top shelf were $5 ones from walmart (the fold out cardboard bottom ones). All I did however, is to spray glue a 10 inch square to the front of them, cut out where the tag was and personalize them that way. Cheap and cheerful:)
I like how you have redone your room I tried to find the ironing station on Overstock, but they didn't have any. I saw the Lori Holt zipper, are you going to make her zipper pouches, if so, please show how to do them. I was wondering why all the crayons. Have you seen where you can color on your fabric with the crayons? Take care, glad to see you both are feeling better.
Thank you Cindy:) I found one at: www.aosom.com/item/homcom-drop-leaf-ironing-board-with-shelves-and-storage-boxes-literary-print~831-091BU.html I haven't shopped with this company so don't know what to expect, but just FYI. I got the zippers at the last quilt show I went to. I will most certainly do a tutorial if and when I use them!! :) I HAVE seen the craft of coloring on fabric....I have enough crayons to go around!!! LOL!
Thank you:) We put in on the underside soffit of our porch near the ceiling, out of the elements ~ It fits perfectly so when we sit on our porch we can admire it!
We inherited the yellow walls when we moved here and decided to keep them:) Alas, our beautiful library ladder and rails are safely stored in our basement now. No place to use them :/
Thanks Cheryl! I have my 'portable' design wall - my flannel backed tablecloth that I clamp up to my shelves. It works really well as I don't have any spare empty walls in this house! I can put it up and take it down and fold it away:)
Love the story about the crayon. The sewing rooms are beautiful.
Thanks:)
I was at a school with RULES so no one would have anything that might make another child jealous...uniforms, school notebook paper, pens and pencils...only school engraved that we had to purchase in the office. Love your 2 sewing rooms , just lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Dear Jean, I just love your sewing rooms 🤩 and I’m so happy to see Ian back to his busy self 😁
All the best and as always - Love to the Trueloves ❤️
Thank you! You too Stefan:) Hope you have been well!:)

You have such a wonderful positive attitude. Love watching your videos and seeing always so happy, spreading joy. Love the crayon story. As children we probably all wished for something that someone had.
Thank you so much! Much better to go through this tough life with a smile, rather than a frown!
Hi Jean your rooms look fab, so cosy and comforting and it's so nice to have a little bit of your old home worktop in your new home, bringing you lots of happy memories.I bet Ian isn't happy unless he's working at something. Love from Ireland xx
Thanks so much! 😊 It is the little things that make me so happy...who would've thought that a bit of butcher block could bring such smiles!!!?!?! LOL!
Hardly recognized Ian! He has lost a lot of weight and is even more handsome! Lucky you, Jean. So nice to hear you happy and healthy again. Take good care.
Ian is trying to lose weight - he is walking more and taking his medication seriously. Thanks Kim:)
Wonderful! The room looks great! Lovely to see you so peppy 😊 And Ian as well. Creativity awakened! ❣️
Thank you! 😊 I got your message....sorry for the delay in responding! So pleased you have got YOUR spark too!!

You have the whole lower floor....how awesome is that?!!?! And tell me...WHO doesn't love a new box of crayons!?!? LOL!
You’re a very lucky lady !! You’re sounding so much better. Stay healthy! Both of you 😉😊
I am one of the luckiest in the world!! I know that and am grateful every day. We are trying to keep fit and healthy!! thank you:)
What beautiful and creative sewing rooms you have had along the way up to your current rooms. I love that Ian is so handy and helpful. Your current rooms seem to have a lot of windows that bring in the daylight and lots of opportunity to daydream. Thanks for giving us a tour, Jean.
Thank you for watching Marybeth:) I am very blessed to have such a supportive man behind me:) I don't take it for granted! :)
Thank you for a delightful peak into your sewing havens. Don’t we feel blessed to have so much fabric, rulers, scissors, etc. all very usable! “God, please give us many days of happy sewing!”
We are so so blessed!! I love to go 'shopping' in my rooms:)

You have a beautiful sewing room. Your fabric room is charming. I love the crayon story.
Thank you! Cheers!
Your sewing rooms are awesome you're so lucky to have one. My favorite one is the one on Davis Road it was so bright and a vintage feel to it. Thank you, Jean, for the tour. Happy sewing.
I also loved the story about the boxes of crayons I remembered you saying that story before.
Davis Grove was a dream......that turned into a nightmare. But never mind, we have moved on and are very very happy here!! thanks Terrie:)
Hi Jean, I feel that I have just been on a holiday, simply by watching and hearing your enthusiasm.
Aw thanks so much:) I do get excited and love to share!!
You are very blessed!!
I just got rid of a queen bed in my daughter’s old bedroom to make room for all my machines, fabric , tables and all things crafty!! Love my new sewing area!( and your videos)!
Oh wow! That sounds great!! All the best for future creations!
Enjoyed seeing your happy place, Jean. Yes, you are b lessed, blessed, blessed! At 76yo, I'm downsizing my fabric for quilting and garments and misc projects. It's amazing how much I have. Wonderful! I love that - 'we create because we are created'!! How so so very true!! Nature is the most glorious of palettes!! Hugs!! Thank you so much:)
Love your sewing space and I think your "new" table is wonderful!!! Blessings!
Thanks so much:)
What an inspiration you are, I just love your space. You got me excited to rearrange.
It's always so refreshing to have a good old tidy up and discover goodies we forgot we have!!! All the best!
Love your space thanks for sharing. Lots of love and well wishes to you and your lovely family.
Thank you! You too!
Lovely, Jean as always you create such a great working space! XX❤️

I've always loved the Crayola boxes. Brings back memories as well.
Wonderful memories!!
I love it! We all need happy places!!
Thank you for the tour! Super fun! You are so organized!❤️
Thanks for watching!

Ah, I have seen that!! Lovely:)
Your sewing rooms are beautiful .❤❤
Thanks Sue:)
Looks great. I need to move things around in my craft room to accommodate my supplies better.
Re-organizing gives a whole new lease on creativity:)
WOW!!
Love your crayon story. I used to want the 8 count box.
Only the 8 box!??!!? I aspired for the 48 box!!! LOL!
Wow! Amazing rooms! And so much stuff!! 😂😂
We are very blessed to have these capable lovely men in our lives, aren't we Carmen?!? Hugs!!
What a happy sewing room love all tables and shelves
You are blessed to have a Ian that makes shelves and tables ❤
And enjoyed your videos every time💕
Love to all of you from Sweden 🇸🇪
I am very blessed and don't take it for granted. I know I am so lucky:)
Thank you for the tour Jean. Really loved this video. Take care and love from Australia 💖
You are so welcome!
Enjoyed your rooms. Always like your videos. Thank you😘
Thanks so much:)
Beautiful places to sew😊
Thank you! 😊
LOL! AND got my crayons...eventually!!
love he star pot holders
Thanks !!!
In fact hope all of you are doing well💕
Thank you so much! One day at a time:)
Love your new room
Thanks so much:)
There was never a better gift than new crayons! I still like them! In fact the other day i was thinking of printing out some mandalas for doing just that to relax me.
Seriously. There is just something so calming and sweet and theraputic about a new fresh box of crayons!! LOL! LOL!
Love Your work
Aw at least you have a small space!! I remember my teeny tiny closet with fond memories!!! LOL! Hugs!!
Ian will talk about it if you send in pictures to:
Truelovequiltsforyou@gmail.com
😘😘😘
You have been a loyal friend for many years Terie....we really appreciate it!
Omg! I loved my crayons! I can still smell them….😊
That smell!! Heaven!! LOL!
Nice view from your sewing room.
Thanks:)
BTW loved the library ladder Ian made for you for that room. Such a shame. That was a beautiful room. So sorry for the loss😟🙁☹️
😢 Yes, that is a chapter in our book that we wish wasn't written. :/ thank you so much
Thank you for the tour 🌷
We are already in the process of learning as much as we can:)
Love your sewing rooms!
thanks so much:)
Layin' down on the job again Ian?😀 It all looks great Jean!! I've been re-doing mine too, so much fun.
This dear guy....no rest for the wicked!! LOL! What would we do without an Ian~!??~
What a great house!!
It was a miracle how we found this home...after we were basically rendered
'homeless/houseless' for many months after the disaster. we are very blessed indeed.
I first found your channel through the fabric bin video. Thank you for the room tour. It's fun to see all of the family memories spread throughout the space. I love all of the natural light that you have.
Ah thank you for watching me:) I appreciate that:)
Great sewing spaces!
thanks Julie:)
Your sewing room is fabulous enjoy 🦋
Thanks so much for watching me:)
You are blessed with a beautiful
Loving family. Gorgeous sewing rooms. A wonderful house.
Thank you so much! We thank our God every day:)
Thanks for sharing!! I see that quite a few people shared our 'crayon envy''!!! LOL! I smile every time I see my boxes!!
I love your newly arranged sewing room. With all of your wonderful fabrics and notions it's such a happy place :)
Thanks so much Rita:) Life can be stressful - we all need a bit of a 'happy place' , whatever or wherever that may be:)
Lovely rooms Jean. 😊
Thanks Jo:) Hope you are well!!
Isn't that a wonderful memory?!?! I bet you can still 'smell' those crayons and the feel of the metal coffee can!! Funny what we reminisce on!!
@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory Yes!
Your room looks lovely ❤
Thanks so much:)
Thank you so much! My hair is not quite as luxurious as it was...old(er) age catching up. But at least I still HAVE hair!! LOL!
How blessed you were!! The BIG BOX!!! Wow!! LOL! Hugs to you Betsy:)
Thank you, your sewing room is absolutely beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Love your new sewing area! Can't wait to see the tour!
Keep well.
Aw, if you were close, Ian would surely help you build with your wood!! LOL! Hugs:)
Jean, as a child I always wanted a big box of Derwent pencils. My husband had Derwents. So, so jealous lol
Did you ever get your own Derwents?!?! They are actually available on Amazon...I looked them up for you!! LOL! Thanks Noralle:)
Super!! Thanks so much Linda;)
Dear Jean, I loved the tour of your sewing rooms!❤
A quick question.
As you know, we ladies need more than one, and they all have there job to do.😊
You have a wonderful display of fabrics, and your quilting talent is way beyond where mine is.
I'm a newbie to quilting, and your videos are a treasure trove of experience for me to draw from.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us all,
LC (or Elsie as some people call me!)
I don't have any industrial machines, mainly because I have no space for one. But the Sailrite that I have has made many a sturdy bag, luggage really, that I use a lot:) Thanks for taking time to watch me LC (Elsie...what a sweet name! :)
So Happy for you I’m struggling with my sewing room, you give me great Hope I can do the same. ❤️
You always have such wonderful stories Sharon! Thanks for sharing:)
LOL!
I absolutely love your sewing rooms! Whatever happened to your border that your boys removed piece by piece? Diana Romero❤️
Thank you:) We put in on the underside soffit of our porch near the ceiling, out of the elements ~ It fits perfectly so when we sit on our porch we can admire it!
Love your yellow/gold walls. Also, what has happened to your library 🪜 ladder?
We inherited the yellow walls when we moved here and decided to keep them:) Alas, our beautiful library ladder and rails are safely stored in our basement now. No place to use them :/
GOD IS GOOD!
He is very very good:) We are blessed and thank Him every day:)
Beautiful sewing rooms! But you Don't have a design wall! I have 2 rooms as well, but one of them has 2 design walls.
Thanks Cheryl! I have my 'portable' design wall - my flannel backed tablecloth that I clamp up to my shelves. It works really well as I don't have any spare empty walls in this house! I can put it up and take it down and fold it away:)
What happened to your Sailright machine, did you fall out with it?
Oh, I see you still have it. I was too quick with my question. I am a silly billy..
LOL!! Yes, I have it. Although I haven't used it that much since our last home. It is a wonderful machine for heavy duty things.
You need some new tattoos for your new Jazz!
I have to, you are right!! LOL!
