An institution of higher learning in the lap of nature...actually a visual delight..... Lucky are the people who get a chance to visit this university daily as a student or faculty.... I wish I could see it atleast once.
Subtitles in English and Hindi but no Urdu. Urdu is understood, read and written by more than 95% of Kashmiris while Hindi can be read and written by barely 5-10%. Who have you put those Hindi subtitles for? For Kashmir University students based in Nagpur and Kanpur? Good going with the Sangh agenda Kashmir University.
Oh, what a brilliant move by the university to alienate the majority of their audience! Because who needs to cater to the actual linguistic preferences of the people, right? It's not like Kashmiris have a rich cultural heritage and a deep connection to their own languages. Nope, let's just bulldoze over that and force them to read Hindi instead. Truly a stroke of genius! 🙄
By the way you already had uploaded the Tarana 3 years ago [ ruclips.net/video/UxOVSqnoF94/видео.html ] , with subtitles in English only while Urdu [that was then erstwhile state's only official language] is nowhere to be found. Now reuploaded with Hindi subtitles. Getting some special orders from 'Nagpur'??
Why no Urdu subtitles when more than 90% people speak, read & write "URDU" in J&K. You people should learn from Tamils, Malyalis, Kannads, Marathis etc who very proudly promote their native languages everywhere in the country. Don't forget that the currency notes still has URDU on it. Don't be afraid of a language. COME ON! I won't be surprised if KU closes down it's URDU department very soon.
Some people are writing that, subtitles are provided in English and Hindi, while English is fine, the subtitles are not in Hindi, it's Kashmiri written in Hindi Script (called Devanagri Script), which is more horrible than providing subtitles in Hindi, because official script of Kashmiri is Nastaliq (arabic-persio). Only very few pandits can read Kashmiri in Devanagari Script while, majority of those who read Kashmiri, can read it in Nastaliq Script. As I can read both the scripts, one thing that I can clearly say that, the person who wrote the Kashmiri in Devanagari script too wasn't fully familiar with the script and has made a lot of mistakes 😂😂😂 Surely, it's a work of some mischievous Pandit, who himself doesn't know the standard Devanagari script of Kashmiri 😂
Oh, how utterly shocking and scandalous! The fact that a video about Kashmir University's anthem has captions in Hindi instead of Kashmiri or Urdu is clearly a conspiracy of epic proportions. I mean, who cares about practicality or making the content accessible to a wider audience? It's all part of a sinister plot ! Clearly, the university's sole purpose is to force foreign languages on its viewers, most of whom are undoubtedly Kashmiris and students. It's not like using a Foreign Language , might actually help more people understand the content. Nope, it's definitely an evil agenda.
