TKTre lots of research. Lol the pads and rack aren’t that hard but I had to get my hands on an original Shark pedal to make copies of it. My homemade pedals just weren’t cutting it. The sounds are the hardest part. I had to get a sampler and make my sounds. I have Rick’s old Ddrum 2 module but he used it as a MIDI controller and not really for many sounds. But there are a febw sound I recognize like the clap snare and a few custom kits possibly used. But I thing he predominately used the samplers for his sounds.
TKTre I’ve had the Simmons for about 10 years now. They are getting harder to find. The Ddrum pads are getting impossible to find. I just happened to catch an auction on eBay. Guy was selling 12 pads (5 Ddrum 2s and 7 Ddrum 4s) and got them as a set. Got the Ddrum kick tower and ddrum2 module from Def Leppard’s former sound engineer.

What's with the cymbal and snare hits without hitting a cymbal or switching foot pedal to trigger a snare and cymbal sample?

What kind of pads are those?
DomsThePanda those are Ddrum 4. I have the Ddrum 2 that Rick used but I don’t have the mounts for them so I used the 4s.
