I live in Illinois too. I had 4 lilac bushes that would never bloom. I heard a old wives tale that you could get them to bloom if you shock them by kicking them with a stiff boot. Well I sent my 6'5" son out to kick. Well the next year on they bloomed wildly. It worked.
My friend had a 5-6 ft lilac bush which never bloomed. Her kids gave it to her years ago. They came over & trimmed all her bushes. Cut that lilac bush Way down, like half height or lower and it Bloom for the 1st time!🎉👏👏👏
Aldi’s brand of plant based foods are really good, as a vegan, that’s great news! Thanks for showing the ingredients on the mini vegetable samosas…the only allergen I saw was wheat. I’ll have to look again more closely at the list and maybe check them out. I love Aldi and it has come a long way in the last 25+ years.

Yes the pronunciation on the poke bowl is in fact "poh-kay". Have a place near me that specializes in creating those fresh. It's usually diced up fish of some type over rice or a grain.
the irish beef stew is 1 1/2 pound, there was very little meat in it and i could have bought that canned stew for $3.50 instead of wasting $10 bucks. also that fusia chicken fried rice for $6. was 90% rice and a tiny amount of faux chicken and tiny carrots, the lima beans were near none and suprised cause they are cheap to buy in a can. I am really watching out at aldi now and not trusting them anymore for good priced products
Yes, better to buy a cut of beef on sale & the veggies separately. We really have to watch ingredient lists & weight per serving size. Lots on gmo & plant based/soy products are being added as fillers.
@@barbwall3678 my complaint was aldi is jumping on the inflation bandwagon and cheapening the quality of their frozen foods cause they used to be full of chicken, beef, vegies and not just a bag of rice or noodles
When my son was in preschool, he left silly putty in the pocket of his swimsuit. It had a netted lining. After drying I discovered it and the silly putty was melted into all the nooks and crannies of the netted pocket! Ewe! I think I had to cut out the pocket. 😃

I make my own power wash using an old dawn container that I bought to try… 1 ounce rubbing alcohol, 1squirt of dish soap and fill with water…it works GREAT!

What about lavender ? I have had them for years. Last year they finally got blooms, not enough to make up for the 3 years before.
