    I've heard you can run into problems with bi color lights and artifacts, my light is a round COB led , bi color, with alternative stripes of warm and cool cathodes, should i steer clear of this product?

    Hey Nitsan, I hope you are well bru, thank you for the wonderful in-depth review of the NG-10x.
    Just wanted to ask you a quick quetion man which is, is there a way to after mounting this onto the light (via the Bowens connector) is there any way of getting a softbox on it?
    we would probably need another bracket for this, right?
    Cheers.

      Hey. There is no point putting a softbox over this. They don't work together.

    You mentioned small lines possible depending on the shape of the LED or COB light. Did you notice the lines more prevalent with a square LED?

    • @ModMax69
      @ModMax69 Год назад

      If your led has a square cob it makes square of light. Only noticeable if you are shining on a flat wall. How often would you need to do that?

    Excellent review! I've watched a few other reviews about the Fresnel lens. When they compare it with the grids, they somehow forgot to factor in the effect of the reflector :-)

    Hi Nitsan, thanks for the quick review, very useful info as I'm trying to find a fresnel lens for my pixapro too.
    Have you played with the Pixapro Optical Snoot and the PIXAPRO Fresnel Spot Box Spotlight Projector (listed on essentialphoto website). I'd love to see a review of those two with the LED100D.
    By the way, what are the new features of the LED100D mark II ? Do you plan to post a review of those ?
    Thank you man !

      +Etienne Hb Hey, I've not tried them, but I will if I can.

    Hey I’m new to photography, wanted to know if you know how I can change my warm modeling light to a bright day light on the Godox QS400 II? Because if I turn it on as is, it emits a yellow light, unless I flash it. I want to emit a constant white light. I saw a video on a fresnel nanlite forza500 and it’s continuous lighting is beautiful. I want to change moonlight into that white fresnel lighting, can you help?

    • @nitsan
      @nitsan  3 года назад +1

      I don't think it's worth the effort if there isn't a white bulb easily available for that light. Just get a nice 60w video light with a Bowens fit. Gonna be way better than a modelling light. Pixapro make a nice looking one for cheap.

    • @AMBD90
      @AMBD90 3 года назад

      @@nitsan thanks, I found led bulbs that are bigger and has a larger hub cover, I will try them out, is it ok to replace with led when it’s not led to begin with? As long as it’s within the wattage limit and fits?

    • @nitsan
      @nitsan  3 года назад

      @@AMBD90 You would need to ask the manufacturer. I assume their answer will be no if it's not something they designed their product to use. Without seeing it I couldn't even guess, but I would say don't do it if there is a risk of damaging your equipment. Not worth it. Best to just buy a video light. You could even sell your flash lights and just use continuous lighting for both stills and video. With a fast shutter speed you can even do high speed photography if the light doesn't flicker. I did this in one of my videos with the pixapro lights. Had no problem going to 1/8000 shutter. I personally don't even bother buying flashes anymore, as I don't need their super high output for use outdoors. In the studio continuous lights are actually awesome for most types of photography. Selling your kit and buying a good set of video lights is much easier than damaging your equipment and having nothing at all.
