Hi, I have 3+ years of work experience in IT role and i am a bcom (hons) graduate from DU. During this time period i had tried but could not get into any finance related role. Now i am preparing for MBA and my aim is to get into investment banking but i do not have CA/CFA degree but in order to compensate for that, i am planning to do a couple of finance related certification courses. In my 10th and 12th my scores were more than 90% and in graduation it was 65%. So will it eventually make any difference in my selection in IB?

You can switch to IB, but it will need you to gain major knowledge and expertise in finance domain which you can do by completing CFA or MBA in finance. If your goal is finance and more specifically investment banking then CMA or ACCA is not the right choice, These are more into the accounting side of the industry than the finance side of the industry. So courses like FRM or CFA will offer you better opportunity and exposure.
