These guitarists are fucking beasts man I’m a drummer but these riffs give me stank face so hard in combination with the drums and vocals, overall a fucking perfect band.. in my opinion
i prefer standard tuning compared to dropped. you can pull off alot more evil chords. dropped limits you a great deal. And theres really no reason to play dropped when playing slam.
@@nalleyman7421 that's not really slam, but I totally agree - it's easier to play some nasty stuff, because it's much easier to play some good old minor third / minor 7th chords

My Album of the year
Being and old death metal/slam fan, I was 'browsing' through the music of new bands and mostly heard deathcore influenced output. This is what I was looking for! Brutal death, produced in a modern way. Great stuff, which came unexpected.

The worst part is the fact that these modern deathcore bands nowadays have zero percent hardcore, grindcore or slam influences, most of them are just meshuggah with gutturals, i miss the times when deathcore bands sounded like The Boy Will Drown
