Just in case you're interested, it turns out that My Mate is a Feline Gentleman is a four volume series, not a one shot. Hopefully the other volumes will be numbered to make it a little more obvious. (Cool sidenote, according to Yen Press's catalogue, the next volume UK Arc Over is due out in December 2023 and takes the main characters to the United Kingdom!)
What a great haul! I guess I have to have another look at SciFier (^^)" I hope you'll like The Fox and Little Tanuki. It doesn't seem to be a very popular series, I think you're maybe only the second RUclipsr who I saw picking it up. But it's really great. It's honestly not something I usually read but I got intrigued when volume 1 came out and I have been preordering every volume since then because I can't wait to read more. It's very cute, a bit mysterious but also heartwrenching (at least for me, but I'm a crybaby, so make of that what you will) and has very likable characters. The mangaka does a great job displaying emotions through bodylanguage and facial expressions in the animal characters.
@awakeninqs Only works if I change to GBP. They also say they add VAT for EU at checkout but I'm seeing VAT at 0.00 and no change to the GBP price added to cart. Did you place an order and get a VAT adjustment? Otherwise there'll be a VAT charge and An Post will charge €3.50 per package as a processing fee. The price after a VAT adjustment is still cheaper than Amazon and most places though.

Hi I just wanted you to know I live in Australia and I ordered manga about the same time as this order and it came today 11th August I found the postage paid reasonable so I think I will definitely be buying from scifier again on a side note love your content but your terrible for my bank balance 😂😂❤
Im planning on ordering volume's 1,2 of boys abyss and volume 1 of skeleton knight in another world, and it will be my first ever izaki in the collection. And there is going to be a total of 13 volume's for boys abyss.
What about import tax? I am pretty sure if I were to buy something from the UK, I would have to pay a flat fee to even receive it in my country which is part of the EU. This flat fee is next to the shipping fee of course.
I know they try to fill it all the forms and necessary stuff from their side as possible. I'd recommend reaching out to them for more specific questions about your country. I believe I have seen EU people receive parcels without needing to pay fees but again can't speak for everyone 🙌
@@Caketinz Next time I have to buy something, I can try and test it to see~ Yolo. However here in Denmark, the prices for like the 1st One Piece Box Set as an example would be around 200gbp, yet on SciFier it looks like it's like 100gbp instead. And that seems like too good to be true almost lol
In my experience of buying books from all over the world (into the UK) there has never been any taxation applied. I also believe this a world wide thing, regarding printed matter. However it would be wise to check if this applies to your country. A test would be to see if ebay adds any taxes. It will to collectable, cds and blu rays/dvds, on books it won't do for those in the UK.
I'm in EU. I ordered last week and they applied VAT in check out, so I'll wait and see if I have to pay import fee here, normally you shouldn't but it depends on if they fill in the forms correctly. I can let you know if I remember when my order arrives.
Be carefull reeding them and opening manga on the inside. For many years ive seen chanels get canceld for this, swed or striked by kodansha or the publiching company of origin. Stick to covers and blurbs and you chould be fine. But dont get copyright by the companies or youtube. Im very sad to say my favoret revewer incidius sweed got stiked by kodansha and stopt making videos. :(. Be safe.
That is very fair and I used to be more cautious and then forgot 😅I do think it depends on the publisher as I think Yen press is all for it but yeah I hear Kodansha can be a bit more finickity
Wow their prices are great and now it has flat rate shipping.

Oh thank you!! I even read it and thought yeah this could be a one shot 🤣 Look forward to seeing what happens to the characters in the UK
@Caketinz You're welcome! And yeah, I'm interested too and I haven't even got the first volume yet haha 😅 definitely on my "to buy" list though
Great haul!! I love your hauls, I always find something new I have to try out!

My order shipped out on 25/07 and has yet to arrive.

I can't track it, but I'm guessing it's stuck at customs.
Did you have to pay customs fees?
