This is one of those games that look silly and simple on the surface, and then you open a door you couldn't before and you find 39 new things you can do and suddenly you quadruple your play time. Definitely still silly as hell though
Definitely a very interesting game, the old school graphics looked awesome and while you know things are going to happen with all the information about the killer followed by the announcement of his escape the dialogue gives it a very comedic feel (Layna's response to what Rex had to say earlier and the whole Hillary thing was hilarious though I did not expect her reaction to the insults/rejection). Also like how Layna started narrating the wife's journal all official and professional sounding but about halfway through she just goes too long don't care before walking off, also the whole drinking mid sentence thing for the note the latter part of the note from the older son.
I'm so corrupted. Watched Layna come across a trash can and not make a comment on "It's Empty". Immediately thought of ManlyBadassHero lol. I really feel like some kind of collab or interview or something betweeen Manly and Layna, my favorite Horror RUclipsr and Horror Vtuber respectively, would have the potential to be something special. You should play Dementium 2 HD. It's a good game. Or maybe Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams. Edit: Been watching some older videos. DEMENTIUM II and Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams would fit right in... Oh, and I don't speak of the remake that's coming out soon, I speak of the original SH2. You seemed to enjoy Crow Country... You should enjoy SH2.
