The game has C Standard, I don't get what can be so hard about dropping the C to A#, call it a custom tuning and actually put the songs people want in the game. Suppose the strings being looser could account for some dodgy detection. But people didn't seem to have problem with Dethklok and QotSA detection in C. So what's one string dropped a step??Rant over.
I've used Rocksmith to tune to Drop A# to play along with songs I have snapped.with my Xbox's media player. It picked it up fine. The game is also designed to pick up bass frequencies anyway so Drop A# is nothing really. Although that being said, Drop A# on a bass guitar wouldn't be doing anyone any favours..

Howcome around 1.33 you mute the strings even though it dosent show it? It sounds correct the way you play it, its just odd it dosent show.. Same thing in Social Distortions - Story of my life.

There isn’t really a “correct” way but your ring finger is generally stronger than your pinky finger so you’ll get a stronger and better bend with it.
