Ten years ago I saw Rage Against The Machine at Reading and it was the biggest moshpit I've ever seen. I do wonder if the lineup was more pop because Glastonbury wasn't running this year but Reading has had piss poor lineups for a while.
The crowd were awful to them at points, massive group behind me singing two german bombers during an acoustic song and them cheerio when they finished. Not 100% my type of music but they didn't deserve any of that
no, mcr was more punk rock, alternative and kinda metal-ish. you probably didn't heard their first and second records "i brought you my bullets, you brought me your love" and "three cheers for sweet revenge".
@@vulmere Yeah gotta agree, they're pretty punk but since they're clumped into the emo subculture because of the look and trends at the same, people don't want to acknowledge that they play some good punk rock. I mean look at our lady of sorrows, desolation row, thank you for the venom, helena etc all great punk tracks
We sat through these guys because we wanted a good place for Post Malone. Never heard of them before and didn't really like the majority of the set, however this final song was actually really good to watch and a decent tune!
And this is everything that is wrong with Reading & Leeds now. They’re trying too hard to cater for people who hate “Rock” when only a few years ago that’s all there was on the lineup. It really pisses me off
a year ago they played gigs at pubs
More like 2 or 3. But it's insane how far they've come
12 years ago I went to college with will. Amazing how his life has changed so much
I know they’re playing mainstage so it’s kind of expected at a festival like this, but they deserve such a better crowd than this

They were on before Post Malone
It definitely didn't help that at Leeds they clashed with Bring Me The Horizon.
RightHearted makes sense then:/ shame because I love Creeper and Posty but the same can’t be said for 90% of that crowd lmao
saw creeper live in a tiny venue one or two years ago. incredible energy.

It depresses me that you used the words "a modern My Chemical Romance". That makes me feel so old!
I think I’m falling in love with this band
Though I really I don’t like them these are the kinds of bands that should be playing this festival, non of this club shit
big up ollie burdett, that’s so sick seeing u up there
So sick live 🤘
