I spotted a wonderful pet portrait at Goodwill of two dogs laying on gorgeous furniture. It was done in acrylics or oils of the obviously beloved pets. It went weeks in the GW with no one buying it, so I did. I just hated it that this expensive pet portrait of these two adorable dogs was headed to the bins before long. I presented it to my vet on my next visit and it is hanging on their wall now.

Ah, the thrill of the hunt! I picked up a bag of 13 Jonathan Adler porcelain ornaments for $6 (less than 50 cents each) and they're selling for $20-40 each. I doubt I can let any of them go, though. I love his designs and they're gorgeous. As always, thanks for sharing your treasures! 💙
I was proud of myself today. Left the Longaberger ceramics on the shelf (no sales outlet anymore since I don't sell on line any more) but did nab the mint condition bright blue Viking compote. Proud of myself because I knew it on sight. Spent $3. No carts rolled out at all while I was there. RE: lightweight items ... that's what jewelry is for!
The puppy dog painting is adorable but when you go to list it… list it as a staffordshire terrier… people confuse the pitties and staffys all the time and you may get a higher price if more staffy people see it. You probably already know this, but just trying to help :)
Is the pink cat with the googly eyes an earring holder? Looks like something I had as a teen. That pitcher was AMAZING!!! Went shopping at Goodwill today and my friend found this beautiful Chec crystal ashtray that was so heavy, had a flower carved (?) onto the bottom. Her comment showing it to me was " You could kill someone with this!" She paid only $1.31 !!!!!
Just curious, would you be willing sometime in the future to make a video on how the Whatnot platform works? Kinda like how you outlined how eBay works with shipping and stuff? 🙂
At 4:52, that tall pottery that you called a vase-it had such a small hole in the top I wonder if it wasn’t actually for a gazing ball. The ball’s protruding base would fit in that hole to make it more secure. Just a thought 🤷♀️
That vase you put back before you picked up the Raku vase is a hand thrown wood fired salt glazed vase. Most likely made in Seagrove NC. There is a market for wood fired pottery. You probably could have fetched ~$30 for it.
The hot pink googly eye owl might be much older than you think. It reminds me of something from my childhood ( like 60's, 70's era. Im in my sixties now) we had something very similar, itvwas to hold your post earrings to display and keep from losing them.
The blue and white pitcher has kintsuge - gold “repairs” running through the pattern - which is likely why you found such a good price for it. Nice item!
I saw that too! I love when it’s repaired like that. Makes it even more of an original. I want to fix something of mine in the same manner but do not know what product to use.
Welcome Vicki! Glad you're here. We're a really nice supportive bunch here. You fit right in. 🤗 Jocelyn is amazing, super down to earth and pretty darn funny. 🤣🤣
I’ll be at the next sale as well. At the last sale, your first sale, I had immediate vibes of your old haul videos with Andrew!! It was very comfy and chill. Looking forward to more of Andrew singing 🤷♀️🙏🏻
I think that was a Yoda LEGO clock. Andrew may have liked it? The weird “hands” are the giveaway. Loved your video, as always, and can’t wait for the next What Not! Thank you for working so hard Jocelyn!!❤️

While thrifting i found the same corn pitcher. I was excited only before checking out, i noticed the crack inside by the spout. I had to place it back on the shelf...
Jocelyn, at one point you pass by a stack of plates on the bottom shelf; there is an image of Rhett Butler and Mamy from Gone with the Wind. Those plates are crazy expensive and you can get $30+ (and way more!) for some of them! Go back and find! 😄
Anyone else watch this and think of Thrifter Junker singing "It's Corn" when Jocelyn picked up the pitcher? Or just me and it's real late after work... lol :)
11:40 - you know that's a Chanukah menorah, don't you? Not a "holy" piece, but intended for ceremonial celebration of the holiday. I always buy Judaica when I find it at Goodwill, because I can't stand the thought of something important being knocked around or misused by people who don't understand the significance. I then donate it somewhere it will be used appropriately.

The pink kitty was vintage as I had one growing up. It's to store your pierced earrings on. :)
That pink cat is an earring holder for pierced earrings😻💕
I appreciate the fact that you keep your videos short.I can watch without stopping & starting.
The googley eye kitty is a earring holder. I had one in the late 70’s.
I took a piece of plastic canvas and glued to a backless frame, for my earrings.

Wish we could see them.
Also, you’re channeling your inner Kate with the pink goggly eyed earring holder. Love it. Embrace it!
Was gonna say the same thing, I had one back in the 70's
I'm like you Have to pick up that pink 80's Cat earing Holder..Like the one I had at 9 yo

And here I thought it was a boxer! 😂
I used to throw pottery. Raku pottery can’t be used to hold water anyway. It’s a different firing process. 😊
That goodwill had a great soundtrack that day. I was singing along to each snippet.
That Menorah was beautiful. Cute owl figurine. Love the googly eye kitty.
I’m thinking the googley eye cat might be an earring holder. Looks like one I had many many years ago.
Agree. It's probably from the 70's and it came with that hot pink paint and those googly eyes. Probably sold at Woolworths.
Yes Torino
Same 😊
I had a yellow animal...cannot recall what it was. Had it from '72 to 78. Same deal with googly eyes and all.
Same... had one in the 70's
I have a dog with holes like the pink cat & it holds earrings. Great finds in this video.
I also had an owl and a poodle in that style in the 80s ❤
The salt glazed soap dispenser was made by my parents, Salt O Thee Earth Pottery!! They vended at the Maryland Christmas Show in Fredrick in the 90s!!
That’s awesome!!
My mom loves your channel and was thrilled to see you found a piece she made!!! ❤️

I noticed the *Gone with the Wind* plates....they looked fantastic. Adelaide Australia
Good for you picking up that corn jug that has a high value I’d have left it behind as the corn looked weird to me in blue
Great Walk-through. Always enjoy seeing what you find. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
I love the giant Williamsburg pottery mug with blue flowers!
Say "Half Fast" three times fast. Listen as you say it, and you'll figure it out Jocelyn! Lol!
"Corn juice" LOL cracked me up!
Loved the white Rhino.
It's fun to find surprises at the end.
Pink cat was an earring holder from the 70s....I had the exact one and that pink is original

@@pamelafisher1986 I think if people really want it they won’t consider shipping
I’m the one that bought the awesome dog painting!! I lives on my art wall. We love it!
I believe that the bright pink cat was an earring holder from either the late 60's or early 70's . They were usually painted bright colors.
Lol " Corn juice "around my area is moonshine .😊
My cat with the googly eyes was blue and was an earring holder. Was a birthday day gift in the early 70's!!!!
Pink cat was an earring holder. I had a green one in the 1970's

The pink cat was probably a vintage earring holder. I had something like that in the 70s.
I went into comment overload for a while. I don't do much sharing unless it's cute kittens or pet rescue vids. Love Jocelyn & the fam...
Small vintage wooden plaque...not good, not bad, half(assed) is the pun there. It was a very popular saying on a lot of kitchen plaques 😀
I loved it because that’s my motto wrt all house work - I half-ass it! 🤣 I do just enough to make it look passable. Thorough cleaning 2x a year.
The blue and white pitcher has kintsuge - gold “repairs” running through the pattern - which is likely why you found such a good price for it. Nice item!

It was just gold paint. 🤷🏼♀️ But that would have been really neat. I’ve yet to find a piece like that.
that blue box was lovely
I just found your channel and have been binge watching your older videos. Just like your style!! I will have to check out What Not. 💞🇺🇲

@@laurarose6829 It was better than that. I can’t remember what he was singing but Andrew has a nice voice.

While thrifting i found the same corn pitcher. I was excited only before checking out, i noticed the crack inside by the spout. I had to place it back on the shelf...
The pretty silver-plated casserole dish covers with the ornate knobs are my towel holders in my bathroom
Mind if I ask how did u use them-we had to redo our house due to hurricane Laura and I’ve yet to find towel holders I like
Jocelyn, at one point you pass by a stack of plates on the bottom shelf; there is an image of Rhett Butler and Mamy from Gone with the Wind. Those plates are crazy expensive and you can get $30+ (and way more!) for some of them! Go back and find! 😄
Yep. Cancel culture will make that stuff expensive. I bought every dvd of the movie. It’s historical, which may not be pretty but it’s truth
The corn picture was a beautiful piece and absolutely shocking at what it is worth I am glad you found it and got it
Pitcher?? I didn't see what it is worth 🤷
