Well Heck guys.. Nice video.. Way back in the 80's I moved from CA to PA.. I ended up buying, selling trading maybe 100 or more Whizzers, Motors, kit bikes, WZ's.. I loved all of them and met a bunch of really cool guys who collected too This was back before the internet took off.. I would go to whatever bike shows I could in the NorthEast. Very cool stuff and thanks for posting this old footage...
Since I started riding my 'motorized' bicycle, I have had several people come up to talk about it and their "Whizzers". I told them of the Chinese company producing the 'Cruzzers' after the dispute over the name and patents.Engine kits were @$400, and complete bikes were $2k. That was before the Covid. I hope to see them built here again, as the shop wasn't to far from me.
Dear Bike Guy, I was very lucky to find out about this event, I learned quite a bit. And I should add this, Al Blum, my dear friend and a person who restored many, many Whizzers, has passed a while ago. He was a great mechanic, machinist, motorcycle racer and restorer of Whizzers and motorcycles.
Awesome vid man! I build 1940-55 CWC Roadmasters with EV motors and can say after crashes and speed runs the Roadmaster frames are maybe the best ever balloon style frames ever made in bulk in USA. I have new monarch springer and have done 68mph on my '53 Roadmaster. Thanks for this great historic info! watch?v=8BPDw5pM4NA

Dear DMAX, I have been out of the loop, so if you know of another annual meeting for the Whizzer folks, please let me know. Dan teamdan45@gmail.com.
