This is straight up facts
The only test thats super accurate aside from my lazer eyes is an MRI. The deca scan is not accurate. Id trust hydrostatic weighing over a dexa and depending on the skinfold caliper test being used and the person doing the testing id go with the skinfold over dexa. What you can do is if we use 3 or 4 testing methods. Cancel out the lowest in highest results and go with the middle number

@@pyroshock2789 no but this is the most reliable method of getting an accurate measuring. You wouldn't get 5 tests telling you 11% bf and 1 test saying 8%, and then go with the 8% one. if you were doing an actual experiment, youd take the uncertainty of the 5 tests and 1 test into account as well but thats too much work for this video. There is always a chance that the 8% result is correct but its a lot more unlikely that it is

in kg I´ve been 89kg in June and now at 79kg including 2 kg of muscle mass, the first time after 3 years I'm below that 80kg , my height is 1,70m

Because my training is: 2x strength, 5 times cardio including 1x HIT; I think I was stuck because my body was so used to be between 81 and 83 kg in past 3 years that it thought “Na, we rest here now like before”; Before 3 years I used to be at 73-75kg

I use the us army body fat calculator. In my view as long as you use the same method each time you can track your progress. Also, if you are happy with your look…that’s all that matters😊

I used to do the skin fold caliper every few months back in university with my trainer. It showed that I was at around 12-17% body fat, depending on the time of year or my general condition during the measuring. I did not look like I was in that range. My conclusion over time was that if your goal is aesthetics, look in the mirror and determine if you need to cut or bulk. Even if you hit a numerical range that you're going for, there's no guarantee that that'll be the aesthetic range you're going for. Remember, our bodies are all different and fat shows in different ways on different people. Go to a mirror, strip down, and use your eyes. Just make sure you're not getting too skinny or too fat. Not because of visual issues, but we just don't want you to get sick.

disappointed because i thought this was a video on how i could lose bodyfat, cuz I'm on a similar journey to you, skinny, to dirty bulking chubby, now I'm leaner but not us much as i want to be, would love a video on how you dropped your fats without losing muscles. (oh and i should say the video quality was as always informative and entertaining loved it i was only disappointed cuz it's not what i expected but always a legend joe!)
small deficit and working out
calorie deficit (200-500 below maintenance) with the same training and high protein. Cardio is optional, just helps to increase deficit. Don't focus too hard on the scales as day-to-day factors can drastically change it, just remember to stay consistent and look at your physique for any changes

And I think that tracking that way is cheating, because I don't think that's how you are supposed to measure it. But I don't know
Waist measurement is the most reliable way of tracking how much fat you're gaining on a bulk if you're a man and not overweight. For most men, it's only when you become overweight that fat accumulates a lot in other areas.

Please do a online bodyfat calculation with the online marine body fat calculator. You have to enter among standard details (gender, age, length, weight) also you waist and neck diameter. From that it gives you a figure. I think it is very precise. Interested to see what your findings are.

I hate this lifestyle.. But there's no escape
The thing is, most of these methods like the caliper for instance and just looking at your body only account for bodyfat directly under the skin.
Fat is however not only stored below the skin but also between your organs which we can't see or measure with these methods.
It might be an explanation as to why the Dexa scan is a bit higher, but most likely it's just very hard to measure bodyfat in the first place.

Here’s an important thing to remember: You might not look much of anything like one of the images but still be in the body fat%. I have about 15 percent but not as much muscle that is normally shown at 15 percent because I have a lot less muscle than that.

I’ve been though this too and ranged from 10% (skinfold) to 16% (Dexa) My guess was around 14%. I guess all that matters is how you look.

There is no need to worry about your exact body fat precentage. Just look at your body, you will be able to see if its lean or not.

Normal people usually are at a low to high levels of fat but mostly in-between I would say to just take some creatine and perhaps eat some spinach with whey protein. Because what your calling "fat" isnt actually fat at all it's just your skin doesn't have enough collagen to create connective tissues. Your abs and your ribs are the only thing with good collagen levels, since the purpose of collagen is to create connective tissues and the purpose of connective tissues is to divide the muscle cell into different groups that would appear as "ripped" or "define" and it also gives you somewhat of a glow naturally
