The level of sophistication represented here is also noted, as I have grown tired of hoodies and streetwear having to be in every collection. Honestly I absolutely agree with you here especially on the streetwear part. But in my opinion it was fairly mediocre for his standards, it was very tame
Hoodies and streetwear always make an appearance simply because they are what real, actual young men wear most of the time, including the models, who generally arrive at the shows on skateboards, and leave in the jeans and H&M T shirts they arrived in. If you wore most of these clothes anywhere but on a runway, you might not get home in one piece frankly. The irony of this situation, is that the only men who might possibly wear them, would have to look as eccentric as these boys do - and in the real world, with desperate people sleeping on the streets, none of these boys would ever wear the clothes they're walking around in here. They wouldn't dare.
Dries never fail, it's all about fluidity. The pants, the trench, the sheer T-shirt and the bright orange almost like tangerine or sunset really works well. Bravo!!
About the 5th time I have watched this and it just gets better and better, an amazing show from start to finish, easily the best collection of the season, and with that fabulous throbbing intoxicating soundtrack, WOW!
I loved everything!! And the split at the end, I was secretly hoping, the line split in 2..😂 These colors are gorgeous 😮!! I am impressed one of my favorites, orange and purple or purple and gold..😊

Every look was fire... sparkly shorts and jackets that float, floor length trenches with slightly exaggerated shoulders, parachute pants in an ultra modern silhouette that took me back to the eighties. This is the summer vibe I was lookin for.
This collection was superb, very superior 👏🏾. I wanted every look. This is fashion design at its highest level. Dries is on a roll, last few seasons have been amazing, thank you. 😊

What is really appreciate and look forward to are the front row reactions when the colors, patterns, prints, and textures come down the runway. I can see that they anticipated the arrival of colors and whatnot. I can also tell that the audience respected Van Noten as a person and not just as a designer. What I am curious about is what usually sell the most of each item for each ensemble. I propelled towards the pants and bags.

The first model on the fashion show shown here (time 0 :20 seconds) with long beige trench would be a match for my daughter, Chelsea, who resides in the Seattle area of the United States.

Lovely collection. Pieces are well beautifully designed and wearable (not all but most). One of the very few good shows of the season so far. I wish they would feed these poor models. They all look like they are starving to death.
Omg the models are impressive! I never understood why males walk like zombies, while females like they are angry at the whole world! But in both sexes a more relaxed expression, a few smiles right?
