Not even Jordan was under this big of a microscope because we didn't have social media in the 90's and the internet wasn't as developed yet. Most people still got their sports news from the local newspaper that they picked up on their front porch every morning or from Sportscenter. These days, you got a hundred different websites some with entire sections devoted to Lebron and teams of workers who do nothing but monitor his social media accounts. All most people read or saw about Jordan when he was playing was the Bulls box score from the night before or a couple highlights on Sportscenter. Now, people feel like they know Lebron since we know so much about his career and his personal life.
