- It is with great sadness we announce the death of Mrs. Hu Ruidi, the wife of
Grandmaster Yang Zhenduo.
She died at her home in the early hours of June 7, 2023 at the age of 96.
She was born in 1928. After marrying into the Yang family, she accompanied the patriarch, took care of her husband, taught her children and raised her
grandchildren.
She was a very good wife, beautiful and wise, filial to her elders and loving to her children, generous in words and deeds. She was hardworking in taking care of her family and was a great helper to the late master, Yang Zhenduo, all his life.
慈竹光风空有影，晚萱经雨仍留芳！

Her Taiji makes me want to learn the long form. I use techniques from Wu/Hao, Sun and Yang styles when I practice. Single Whip and Strike Tiger are common from Yang Style! I love Taiji! Thank You so much everyone who kept and keeps the tradition alive. Yang Style is my strongest one and I use all the techniques when I practice. It has helped immensely with my health and healing and is good for fighting, but I never fight. I have good Sword Qi!
