As a convert to the Church some 30+ years ago, my testimony of the truthfulness of this Gospel was strengthened as I learned of the persecution of the Saints. My heart recognized that the adversary wouldn’t put such extensive effort into stopping the Church- if it wasn’t TRUE, and a Direct Threat to his miserable power. Thank you for these capsule lessons which help me immeasurably!

Fantastic video content! Helps our kids really understand what is going on in a fun and interactive way.
They release videos a few days early for a reason, it helps them release them on time and so if people want they can watch them early ^^
One of the reasons we release early is for teachers who need to plan a lesson so that they have more time to use this as part of their study.

We messed up. It was Sidney Gilbert in Missouri. Sorry for the confusion.
This video, although well made, has incorrect information. It was not Sidney Rigdon that survived the gun misfire. It was A. Sidney Gilbert who operated the Saints store in Independence, Missouri. See "Saints The Standard of Truth" pg. 190-191 and pg. 687, which references Sidney Gilbert's name to that particular story not Sidney Rigdon. Someone assumed the Sidney mentioned in the story was Rigdon which unfortunately is an error.

I was asking my team how Sidney Rigdon was in two places at the same time. We hope our review team does better in the future. Thanks also for the reference! @@lineupon Thanks for the reply. I am not actually a history buff but noticed the discrepancy while preparing a seminary lesson. This video is an entertaining short synopsis of the events in sections 94-97. I'm glad you're working to correcting it.
