Kheractis It’s Peach Scone by Hobo Johnson, the live version. The instrumentals are much simpler than something like WoodKid, and it’s a short song

Regarding your question: for the parts where he doesn't sing, I simply use the original song as it is. For the other parts, I transcribe everything by ear and try to find the best matching samples in EWQLSO and LMMS. So they're not exactly the same, but they're similar enough (in my opinion).

Well, if you mean the main melody, it's simply a flute as far as I can tell.

Very good. Just one small correction. Those "yeah" sounds are heard only after each finale, not during the entire song.
I know ;-) I'm re-using the first segment of percussion (first 12 seconds) in various parts of the song, although it doesn't remain identical throughout the song, as you mentioned. In some cases, I took some time to modify it (for instance the transition at 1:41), but most of the time I just re-used it as it is for simplicity. But since you're the first one to notice that - or at least to mention it - in almost 70k views, I think it's not really a problem ;-)

Kheractis Well actually I did an investigation and you might not have forgotten then but it might have been me who kind of imagined them. Have you seen the last dior ad ? There's I love you and at some point incredibles beautifuls violons show up, and I thought I didn't realize they existed because he was singing over it, but after a careful listening, I started to asked myself if in the original I could hear them only because I thought they were therex and if after all you weren' right and that they were only doing single notes on the counter tempo. What a story ! ^^

Haha xD Non j'avais pas vu la pub Dior mais je viens de la regarder. Je vois le passage dont tu parles et j'ai l'impression qu'ils ont un peu amplifié les violons. J'ai réécouté l'original de Woodkid et les violons ne sont pas aussi forts par rapport à l'accompagnement de percussion. Ils ont peut-être amplifié les violons pour compenser le fait que Woodkid ne chantait pas, justement. C'est pour ça qu'on entend bien les doubles-croches entre les contretemps dans la pub, et moins bien dans l'original ou dans ma version. Par contre effectivement dans ma version, ces doubles-croches manquent peut-être quand même un petit peu de volume malgré tout, c'est possible. Elles y sont (presque toutes en tout cas ^^), juste pas assez fort :-P
