I can’t find anything out here in San Diego. Especially the way he’s explaining how his job works. Seems awesome. Best I found was a Craigslist ad for nighttime deliveries 6pm-3am drive from San Diego to LA, $300 bucks at night. 9 hours of driving for $300? And that’s about 300 miles a night. Doesn’t seem worth it?
Not all medical courier business pay that well anywhere. This is very misleading, what wasn't mentioned was how many years the man worked for a particular company or how many companies he works with any given work week. Also, most companies need for you to already own a van or box truck, not a car to courier for them.
11:26 I understand what you’re saying, obviously the App you’re delivering for also have a set of rules, plus instructions that’s vital to follow to guarantee more deliveries with them. Just like you have a boss breathing down your neck at a W2 level job, you can’t just pick up items from the 1099 App and think you can go home relax play music and eating icecream and then go deliver. You have a certain amount of time to get them items to that location. Everything you do will be monitored. Once you agreed to carry for them you will be required to have your Bluetooth on with location on so they can pinpoint your activities. So, yeah it’s not rocket scientist but you have to remain as cautious as anything in life as for working for the man and or yourself with these Apps.
Exactly. I've owned my own business and there are some freedoms, but it's a lot of responsibility. You get what you put in W2 or 1099, hustle pays off.
