I have this song on a tape I got at a Perfect Heart concert years ago, it's a great song. One you can sing all day long.

the usage of the scale in the chorus for a run was brilliant in my opinion! So simple, yet it sounds so good!

I knew Mike and Mark. Great guys. I remember when Mark broke his ankle getting off the bus
They sang for Mike's homecoming out on the lake

I've heard people talk about heaven
and tell of its beauty so rare.
So one day he gave me a title to a
mansion in that land so fair.
It was given to me without money
it cost my dear Saviour his life.
He died on the cross without murmur
For me he paid the great price.
I hold a clear title to a mansion
that Jesus has gone to prepare.
Fire cannot touch it, rust cannot harm it,
and it never will need of repair.
The termites can't mar the foundation
for on the rock or ages it stands.
I feel it is almost completed and
ready for me to move in.
The deed is both signed and recorded
the day Jesus saved me form sin.
My name was engraved in gold letters
in the Lamb's book of life, safe within.
I'm an heir to that mansion in glory
when from this life here I'll go.
I'm waiting for Jesus to call me
and I'll lay down my cross and go home.

The bass player is Rob Novell and the drummer is Kevin "Byrd" Metz. Just thought you'd like to finish out listing the group members. Rob and Kevin both played on a project I recorded when I was about 17 years old and this song was on it. I had them play the intro, and the rest of the song, the same way! Love this song and I love Perfect Heart. I just wish they were still around! ( there is a group using the name, but it isn't the "real" Perfect Heart)

Did I see Dottie Rambo in the front row? I'd never heard of this group before, but they're great! Does anybody know where I can get a copy of this video? I'd love to have it, because I used to go to church with Dale Shipley. Oh, what I'd give to hear him sing "The Anchor Holds" again. Such power!
