They were teenagers when they met I think they were 19 or 20 when they married? Lisa went on to marry other men, but in the end she came full circle and ended up back with him. I don’t know if he was a romantic love anymore but obviously there was a love and a bond there that comforted her. I don’t think anyone goes back to live with her ex-husband unless you want to be there. They were family. I’m glad he was there for her.

She got it right with #1! Danny seems very genuine. He even respected the time that the EMTs took to get through the security system on the 911 call. He apologized to them. He was very calm. That spoke volumes to me..God bless him. I am really going to miss her. I have adored her since the very first Elvis tv movie in 1978 with Kurt Russell. I felt so sorry for that little girl back then because when that movie aired Elvis had only been gone, maybe a little over a year? So I’m really glad that I was able to watch her grow up. I also have a special connection with her being a grieving mother, because I also lost my only 17-year-old son and I was also left with three surviving daughters. And I can tell you from experience … I wouldn’t wish this hell on anybody. This is literally a lifetime, grief journey .Rest in peace, Lisa Marie, you will be dearly missed.🙏🌹

She lived with Danny because he was her connection to her baby boy. Danny seems like a very nice, and a genuinely caring person. I’m a grieving mother to my only 17-year-old son. I was also left with three surviving daughters. We love our daughters passionately, but when we lost our only son, the world fell and crashed all over the place for my entire family. My ex-husband and I were not always, the best of friends post our divorce, but when we lost our only son, we really fell into each other for comfort. Because my ex-husband was the closest connection to my son. We are not wired to get over the loss of our children. It’s out of natures order. It shakes our entire landscape. And it takes years to grieve. After 11 years since his loss, I still cannot believe that I got through all of this. I have no idea where my strengths came from, and I had no idea that I was even the strong. Because this is definitely every parents, worst nightmare. No parent should ever be forced to bury their child. End of story!

@@deborahforbush903 When we grieve, we become reclusive. Everyone seems to be picking a part all the events that led up to her passing. I understand fully exactly how this went down because I’m experienced and handling it. All I’m gonna say is we need a lot more research in this country to deal with grief because the US is behind the times on this subject. If you look at how other countries handle grief, you’ll know what I mean. Grief is every bit as toxic as cancer. If it’s sudden and out of natures order, it becomes much more complicated. I also believe in broken heart syndrome. I have seen it too many times in my 10 years with grief counseling.

They both had Benjamin death to heal from together, both of them being the parents of him. A loss of loved ones is very painful. Some are more devastating than others. Most people just learn to live with it. But you never get over it. There is no such thing as getting over it. My prayers are with the family at this most difficult time.

To me, it’s a no-brainer. Lisa was single, Danny was single and they bonded after the loss of their son. They’ve known each other since they were teenagers and go way back. Danny seems like a good man, has stood by Lisa during every stage of her life. even her marriages to other men. The morning she died Danny was out taking her twin daughters by another man to school. He basically was the acting stepfather and I’m sure her kids liked him. It’s sad to think that her twins probably won’t see Danny anymore as the girls will go live with their own father permanently now.😢

They " grew up " together and were a family . After the anger and BS passes the kinship is still salvageable . I consider my ex husband , my best friend . Not at first but over time . We built a life . Had a child and a home . Just because the marriage didn't last : doesn't mean the love and friendship , couldn't be eternal. During any time of stress ( especially regarding family) my ex would be there . Divorce doesn't equal hate . My ex , was the love of my youth but the friend of my adulthood. I wouldn't have married him if he was so horrible , I could live my life , without any concern for his well-being . Danny and Lisa , were just healthy , well grounded , individuals . 💞 Losing a child has got to be insidious . Sharing the burden and grieving together is logical. During the most illogical time .

My ex and my current husband go on fishing trips and sporting events together, we all go out to dinner together and we spend almost every holiday together with our kids and grandkids, it’s a wonderful way of life for our family and the kids and grandkids get to enjoy all of us as a happy family.

I was my ex's support system to my ex husband who hurt me big time, God told me to step up and help the man out and do it because I have instructed you to do so. When I asked me ex why of all the women he knows and his sisters would he want me around him in his house cleaning and cooking for him? he just said because I know you and your my daughters mother and I feel comfortable with you in my home. I kept crying to God to please not make me be in the same room with my ex twice per week to help him? why should I have pity on him after all the pain he caused me? and I heard God reply Because you work for me , not him and its time for forgiveness. My ex's wife had died suddenly and he had no one offering to help him so he asked me.
It's a relief that they had eachother during the time of grive and he even was always taking care of her other children with their own children

I think Danny has always been a stand up guy. Riley said he was content to live like a common struggling musician instead of living off Lisa. He was also a very good father in Lisa’s eyes (in comparison to Lockwood). Even Cilla liked him and she is picky.
I think they supported each other in grief and he also supported her sobriety after her relapse (given that they had gone through rehab together a few times over the course of their relationship).
Priscilla has never had a bad thing to say about Lockwood. So don't assume she does not like him just because you do not.

We have been divorced over 25 years and we had two boys out of the marriage Our great friendship throughout the years has been instrumental in the success of our now 2 grown sons. I cannot imagine the pain he is feeling now especially after he desperately tried to keep her alive administering CPR. I understand he also loves the twins like his own. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to Danny. I can't imàgibr what's going through his head right now I hope everyone's genuine intentions moving forward with all the legal proceedings etc will be done in an amicable way so that this family suffers no more pain. They have all experienced a lot of loss. Loosing Benjamin as sad as it is brought them together to help each other in such an excruciating grieving process, now he's left without his other half and must also process her devastating death. I'm sure his daughter is supporting him but he'll never get over what he just went through he will learn to live with it as best as he can which won't be easy. I still am scratching my head over why she ever married Michael Jackson. I saw an old interview she did on Letterman where he asked her if she believed the accusations against MJ . Her reply was “I divorced him didn’t I?”🤷🏻♀️
She married him because she loved him .. she’s also never made any accusations about Michael .. ever
