Barry is so relaxed, and feeling so at home, which is a lovely compliment to the organisers. He is an absolute darling. Love him to bits. So wish l had organised to get there. He goes off from here to mingle with fans for a programmed 10 mins. The organisers, and Linda, couldn't drag him away over 60 mins later!!!!!
I was there. Was able to speak to Linda. He went to everyone one on each side but his minders kept pushing to get him onto the schedule. So I just missed talking to him.
Simbu l watched the podcast. It was amazing. He was so peaceful, and happy to be with, and honour, the people who were there, for the beginning of his musical journey. Lucky you, for being part of such a magical atmosphere.
Simbu l loved the way he completely ignored everybody, including Linda, from distracting him from what he made a priority. AND a massive congratulations to the crowd that was so gracious and well mannered too. lt was really beautiful to watch.
When I spoke to Linda, I said something about her having to wait. She said, "I am happy to wait.. This is very special for him. I want him to enjoy it. " A classy lady. Great couple!
I've always wanted to come to Australia because I've collected koala bear stuff since I was 12 I live in Oklahoma now I really want to come to see this but I know I'm 51 now I'll never get to them but salute I love my Bee Gees
