How to Start a Native Plant Sale

Many landowners looking for native plants to use in their landscape have a hard time finding the species they want. Monroe County-Identify and Reduce Invasive Species (MC-IRIS) saw the need for a greater variety of natives and in 2021 started a local plant sale to meet it. Ann Kamman and Ellen Jacquart share details of how this sale began, how it has grown each year, and how it meets MC-IRIS goals.

We cosponsored a plant sale with another local conservation organization a few years ago. I wish I had been able to see this presentation before that sale. It would have saved us a whole lot of time and energy! Thank you for sharing this information.
