    Your tutorials are so very clear! Many other sources often leave something out, you guys are so thorough that I feel completely prepared for the movement. Also, the incremental steps help me to not feel overwhelmed. I can see you quickly becoming the go-to source for fitness tutorials online!

      Stretch out your wrist before performing handstands. Also is a good idea to get a massage gun and roll out the fore arm area in order to wake up the muscle. Over time you'll get use to it and eventually won't feel pain in the wrist

      in the beginning it can be, but it should get better as your wrist adapt to the position!

    I was wondering if you could make a how to video on double dumbbell snatches, especially over quarantine ive gotten pretty good in my single dumbbell movements but when i do double dumbbell for snatches or devil press i find it pretty difficult. I also have a tendency to want to put the dumbbells down outside my feet rather than inside (this might be because im pretty short though). These videos are super helpful, thank you!

    The one thing that worked super well for me and some of my friends at the gym was to treat my hand like a foot and try to put a bit of an arch in it as I walk. So I don't leave my whole hand flat on the floor in a position where it is hard to control things and push from. I've not seen this recommended much but it was a night and day difference for me in terms of balance and feeling where I am putting pressure in my hands. When I told my friend, he immediately walked further than he ever had before on his hands. Worth a try!

Great video overall! If I can make a suggestion on a new video can be on being comfortable at the bottom of a squat with our arms overhead such as doing overhead squats or even squat snatches. Maybe some drills on how practice keeping out torso straight with our arms locked out would be awesome to watch and even some tips on ankle mobility. an old school way to strangling hands and wrist is to get a bucked of rice and stick your hand in, open and close your hand, twist your wrist around. Great no impact way to add strength and flush out!

    I've always wanted to walk on my hands, but have medical issues that complicate it...namely the positional changes. My blood pressure and nerves freak out.
    I think I could eventually do it, but am worried about just jumping into handstands.
    Could I do the same types of movements (like holding or shifting weight from hand to hand) in a more inclined position? Or with my lower body supported above me somehow?
    I'm sorry if this is a dumb question or if it's poorly written, I am just clueless and am trying to find loopholes in my health problems.

    Can you explain how you can feel
    “Weightless” in the handstand position? I can’t comprehend what you mean!

    • @alfi0202
      @alfi0202 3 года назад +1

      She is probably talking about the position where your body is very straight and stacked on top of itself so that you aren't constantly trying to stop yourself from tipping over or backwards.

    • @alfi0202
      @alfi0202 3 года назад +1

      And also the moment in which your feet are just starting to tip over in front of your body so that you begin to slowly fall, and that's the moment where you should start walking with your hands.

    What are the advantages and disadvantages of keeping your legs straight during HSW if any? I mean, is it wrong to bend your legs? It's very difficult to see athletes doing this with their legs straight.

    • @patrickoconnell2380
      @patrickoconnell2380 4 года назад +1

      If you are competing, bent legs is faster. Though I highly recommend learning with streight legs and pointed toes, learn the good habits first. Similar to learning strict pull-ups before trying to learn kipping.

    8:41 I think using the wall is way more dangerous then simply learning how go fall to your back side because if you are far from the wall when you fall you will get hurt anyway. The right way to fall is simply shifting your weight to one hand and turning your body so you fall in your feet, that is how I do and it is way safer.

  • @pedrohenriquewarkenramos5546
    @pedrohenriquewarkenramos5546 2 года назад

    9:55 I don't like this I rather much more turning to my side and falling like in a cartwheel, this is way safer since you are falling in your feet not in your back. I have been practice handstands for about a year and even with that experience I definetly wouldn't be confident to roll out of a handstand, specially in a hard surface.
