When I found out that you guys had parted ways, and you’d gone into rehab, there was always this hope in the back of my mind that the original lineup would get back together. But after only recently learning how close to ending up a headline and a tombstone you became, I’m honestly just glad you’re still around, and still able to make music. THAT BEING SAID. Your solo works harkens back to the gritty post-grunge of the late 90s, early 00s. Back when the two of us were in our “coming of age” range (yeah, I’m in your age bracket). Anyway, I want to thank you for sticking around, and for giving our generation new music that reminds us that the end of our childhood doesn’t mean it has to stay in the past. 💙
