The nine million is fair when you consider what your getting, a submarine a weaponized helicopter, the ability to call in free patrol boats, infinite missiles and guided missiles and torpedos, a sonar station, a massive vehicle that can travel anywhere under water, as well as all the random items inside it. It can also go off radar and unless someone else has a sub with sonar and they so happen to find you then submerging is a great way to go off radar and become invincible.
The song he sings when you enter the submarine is referencing the movie “ Das Boot” , if you have seen the movie you’ll know what I’m talking about, the Tipperary song

When you see they need broomstick ammo and retreat to the terrorbyte, or any other opportune moment, head straight down and feast on the griefers! It's super fast and they won't have time to react if you practice your timing!

This Sub is soooo awesome. Thank you R* I'm not sure how many it takes, but with enough Torpedoes' (or OPMKII Missiles ) you can destroy other Subs. (guessing 14 to 20 ) When you take on OPMKII's with the Periscope Launched Missiles, if they stay tight and high they might survive, if the Oppressor try's to stand off, or turn tails, it's toast. When it gets blown up it's like the MOC, the Players re-spawn nearby, and it can be recalled from interaction menu. When you are surfaced you appear on Map. When you are submerged you do not. If while attacking any Vehicle that can, when they lock-on you will appear on their Map, but disappear seconds after lock is not maintained. I'm an older Gamer and don't GTA5 that much anymore, I also spend much of that just AFK waiting for sale Missions. But now with all the activity along the Coast I use this this to hunt down other Subs and the Knuckle-Heads messing about, around them.

If there are 2 classes that don't need new cars it's sports and super class smh
As I've heard other cars that are coming would not be released on the first day. Either way my source was from GTA gentlemen or that is what I heard.
