- DESCRIPTION
In this interesting ASMR Football Facts video I am giving you information about players that could have played for a second nation. Also, towards the end, I tell you who in the French and Dutch World Cup teams had dual nationality (spoiler: a lot) and we look at a potential world powerhouse in Suriname, only if all the eligible players had chosen them! I hope you like the video! Drop me a comment with any that you know of!

Hey mate, love the video. You're one of the few channels I subscribe to and make sure to watch every video!
A couple of ideas for your What If series...
1. Combined teams - Scandinavia & Nordic countries
2. Combined team - CONCACAF (a team of USA/Canada/Mexico could be cool)
3. Combined team - CAF (a front line of Mane, Salah & Osimhen is dynamite!)
Another idea I had was to do a retrospective of tournaments from the past - for example, go through the 1998 World Cup, cover all the results, talk through some of the more famous matches & incidents, etc.
Cheers!
Amazing suggestions. I have added them all to the list! Thank you!
"Including the WHOLE french team" 🤣🤣🤣
😂😅😂🤣
A couple of interesting recent ones who were eligible for England with both being born there are Haaland and Reyna. Both opting for the nations their father played for. Same with Marcus Thuram who was eligible for Italy.
REYNA??? VALORANT???
Yes, footballers' sons. This is a good one. Jordan Larsson chose Sweden but grew up in Scotland and Spain. Zidane's kids grew up in Italy and Spain. Interesting point!
@@Lee-Oneno the american one
Definitely keep doing these how will they line up videos
Class that mate 👍⚽
Thank you!
Do a video on Scottish football
Yes
Gotta love Rahim Sterling 😂😂😂
I like the guy but he isn't the greatest footballer ever. If he played for an average team, he wouldn't do that well
@@WelshASMR82Football I was laughing at the spelling lmaoo it’s Raheem not Rahim
Xhaka, Shaqiri also come to mind
Oooooh yeah!
@@WelshASMR82Football Love your content by the way :)
Jack Charlton when he was Ireland coach drew on tenuous links to make his 1994 World Cup squad
Quite true! There is always a good diaspora of Welsh/Scottish/Irish players in England
@@WelshASMR82Football I reckon most of them qualified by having a Guinness once
Suriname could've had a cold team, especially with young players like Simons, Summerville, Malacia etc
It would have been very exciting because the CONCACAF region is definitely a zone that you could qualify from.
I have an educational question. If Martinique, Mauritius, Mali, etc.. have teams that aren’t recognized by FIFA then how come San Marino, a “country” with only 33k population have a team that IS recognized by fifa? They play euro qualifiers and other games like that so its just odd how those other countries that are larger then san marino aren’t recognized?
So I think I know the answer... Some countries are technically parts of France or The Netherlands, like Aruba, Martinique, so their players play for NL or France. They do have unofficial teams that play friendlies, if I remember correctly.
@@WelshASMR82Football aren’t san marino basically located in Italy though? Like its surrounded by Italy and close to bologna and florence, so its strange how they are recognized with italy surrounding them.. interesting though! (Dont think they have ever won a match either)
@@ryanferra2411 bc they are not part of italy. No matter if they are inside italy if they are not part of italy
Can you make a video of the away kits for premiere league
Yes! Will do!
Martinique does play in the gold cup
Messi is also italian
Yes, his name is an Italian one and most Argentinians are eligible for an Italian passport
Griezmann father is German so he could play for Germany as well
Moroccan team most of them were born in europe
Yes, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain...
