"I decided" was the body of work where he fully transitioned himself to commit to self-love. Real ones know on that track where he wouldn't answer that phone for his mom while being in the studio. That is something he was speaking on through this interview because he just was working a lot, that album filled with gems. Big Sean a real one! Vic this was a great video bro, keep it up!
The only reason this only at 11k views is because peoples attention span is so short , yet this so deep . This aint for everyone , this is god frequency.
Big Sean is such a humble rap artist I remember when I met him back in L.A when he was filming one man can change the world video in the same block where I lived and grew up on. 💙🙌🏽💙
During my late teenage and early twenties I adopted Big Sean as a big brother figure because of his distinctive nature, style and the fire music, of course...Today I'm 32 and proud to see "big bro" in such a life expanding state that I can relate to. I hope I can one day thank him personally for being such a good role model. Really loved the conversation. Peace from SA 🇿🇦
I’m going through a super rough time in my life right now, I needed to hear this conversation. It already makes me feel better and motivated to do better. Thank you for this
its funny, the way Sean speaks is very intentional. Most ppl would consider it as alot of fluff around the point but intention and context is high level convo like this. 🤙🏾
Same here bro I was felling some type of the way for the past few weeks and watching this video gave me goosebumps and realizing I’m on a journey of life discovering myself
I had got cut by a barber that claimed to cut big Sean up and she told me about the book called ask and it’s given he talked about and it forever changed my perspective
Man I'm so gladbi rewatched this episode "God doesn't give you what u want God gives you what you need" sometimes it breaks ur heart but it's so ur heart can be open to something else " sheeeesh 🔥 👏🏽
I thing I really enjoy about Deep Cut is the subtle music that plays in the background over the whole episode. Its a really nice touch that's really emphasizes the level of things Vic and his guests are talking about
Beautiful full circle moment my dad, rest his soul, was a barber for 20 yrs,I cut my own hair, been watching your vids for awhile and I am so proud of you! As men we need to push each other not one up. It’s the chosen ones time now!
I don't really comment on videos but all of the topics discussed within this episode is what I'm currently going through and It's nice to see the guidance and wisdom that people like Big Sean can offer to really push and excel our mindsets to be better and grow. Amazing content and I am excited to see this channel grow and do amazing things.
By far, the most inspirational interview I've seen in a long time. Touched on so many issues that us as people, particularly men , we are ashamed to say what's bothering us . We are quick to point out everyone's else insecurities or their wrong doings but either overlook our bs and use others as a shield to protect out feelings if that make sense. These days it's so hard to vent because we are afraid of our business being displayed on front street or it being used against us because we've showered vulnerability. That goes with a homeboy or significant other.
Man with how I’ve been struggling recently with my mental health, and with the current place I’m in in my life. This conversation, and the advice, and things talked abt meant a whole bunch to me. It’s funny how this showed up at this time in my life, & I’m watching this at this time in my life. I found myself rly taking in every word being said. Vic is rly genuinely inspiring. With this podcast, with his art, and passion, he has created something rly genuine and special that touches a lot of people’s hearts. So so amazing.
This one made me CRY imma GROWn man & I felt every part, every expression that big Sean came from!!! I gotta respect him & love both Oaf y’all for this it’s 4:20 am & I gotta be to work at 6 am but god planted this seed for us to understand & share our life trials and tribulations !! I hope the Lord blessed everyone on this page or reading this!! Amen
Man I needed this! I appreciate you for your videos,I felt empty and asked god what was it I was missing and it wasn’t anything..I completely fell off track with the lord/meditation when everything was going good and didn’t realize it because I was in grind mode. Thanks for this❤️💯‼️
woww this was sooo deep! I didnt even know I needed this convo. Thank yall. & thank you Vic for speaking about your diagnosis. More people go through that than we think.
amazing to see how big sean’s vulnerability allowed you to open up about your journey with mental health and normalize it. thank you for a great episode 💚
I really enjoyed this conversation. I actually saw you (Vic) back in June at a BBQ spot in Houston, but I have a bit of social anxiety 😅, so I wasn’t sure how to approach you. I just wanted to say that I really love your content-it’s deep and thoughtful. Please keep doing what you’re doing, especially when it comes to shedding light on mental health for men. It’s so needed ❤
Vic blends this was one of the best videos I have watch keep up the awesome work💪😎 and thank you big Sean for sharing your story dawg. Ima keep working for my goals I have a objective to complete 💪⚓ Ima keep working toward to it and continue to pray 🙏 for my objective to get completed
Unrelated, but speaking of how everything is connected. I just realised Big Sean is a huge catalyst for the Drake and Kendrick beef, if Sean didn’t exist maybe, just maybe the beef wouldn’t have happened because if Big Sean didn’t put Kendrick on Control, Drake wouldn’t have gotten salty in that interview post Control verse, and Kendrick wouldn’t have retaliated and First Person Shooter would’ve been Drake Ft. J Cole and Kendrick
Big Sean been on my top 5s since datpiff. Always been Sean wiz and Mac. If it wasn’t for the Detroit mixtapes high school wouldn’t have been what it was would have been boring as hell without that fire music 🔥 🎶
I needed this more than I thought! Thank you for this interview. Also, when I visit Detroit, I'll check out those places Sean recommended Fish Bones dishes, Sweet water wings, Jet's Pizza, Lou's Deli
Your my biggest inspiration. And I’m thinking on helping the homeless with a haircut and something to eat . Thanks to you ,me as a barber I open up my mind
First time watching. This was a pretty dope convo. Really deep & introspective. Had to sub up. Big Sean is definitely the embodiment of self growth. Should be much more appreciated to his contribution of hip-hop.
Bigsean# you got me appreciate that and Vicblens# you’re only one person that’s show us more in the barbing game am all so a barber pray to have the capital to start and thanks for the bigger vision 💈🙏
Ngl I learned a lot from both individuals in this pod , definitely helped me and inspired me to have courage in change in myself to be the best version of myself, great fucking pod vence✌🏼
That’s two grown men having a real conversation. Not a podcast. Powerful. Thank you.

One of my favorite albums as a whole
@@chymarsowell Facts, every song was well-connected/composed.
I still go back to that album I just was listening to the light and Sunday morning jet pack the other day. I love that album.
@@cheese5851Man, I’m about to listen to that album all today! I miss those songs 💯.

Agree 100%
Bc Sean is boring and not very interesting. You can be evolved and still interesting, he is not
Facts
Facts though 😢
Big Sean interviews>>>
They’re all the same 😢
Big Sean is such a humble rap artist I remember when I met him back in L.A when he was filming one man can change the world video in the same block where I lived and grew up on. 💙🙌🏽💙
He really is and ppl hate him for no reason and want to see his downfall

“Sometimes you have to walk back down to the bottom to have a clear view of the top” 44:34 - man! Now that is profound and deep.
You can tell Sean is a man of God , he uses a lot of biblical analogies but he says it to where ANYONE can relate and feel what he’s saying 💯💯💯
I’m going through a super rough time in my life right now, I needed to hear this conversation. It already makes me feel better and motivated to do better. Thank you for this
Never give up. We all go through hardships and adversity in life. Keep going.
Stay strong
In Jesus name it will all come together for you 🙏

He also seems truly genuine in his message!
This got to be one of my favorites by Far. Straight Real.
