it might be one of two things: first, the tuning. make sure to tune your guitar before you play everytime. in this case, it's just standart tuning, you can look up videos on youtube on how to tune your guitar if you don't know how yet. second, in case you have an electric guitar, it could be the distortion/effects. for this video, i plugged my guitar to my computer using a sound interface, and in my DAW (the program i use to record) i added a virtual amplifier with heavy distortion, reverb and some delay. i remember when i first started playing, i could never get to sound like metallica even if i played the right notes, and it was because i was playing straight unplugged, and without the distortion the sound is very, very different. if you have an acoustic/classical guitar, then just tune it and you can play a rendition of this, although it won't sound like in the video because of the lack of distortion and effects. thanks for watching and i hope this helps!!
