Yeh Mera Dil x Don't Phunk With My Heart | Meghna Chakraborty & Saleena Khamamkar | Sidd Kel Remix

In Don't Phunk with My Dil, we take a trip back to the 1970s classic Bollywood era and the 2000s era of American pop and hip hop, paying tribute to two iconic tracks. The award-winning 2005 Black Eyed Peas track "Don't Phunk with My Heart" sampled Hindi song "Yeh Mera Dil", sung by Asha Bhosle for the 1978 movie Don. This mix speaks to our unique identities as Indian-American artists and showcases how Hindi music has influenced globally renowned musicians.
Paying homage to these two worlds, we channel American pop star Fergie and classic Bollywood heroine Helen for a female empowerment anthem.
The video follows two friends getting ready for a night out when a phone call from an old toxic lover interrupts. What follows is a dance video reflecting the fun and strength of female friendships and solidarity...with the message: Don’t Funk with my Heart!
