the woman with the black helmet is Xuxa ^^ She is a childhood icon for several generations. She had a TV show and her stage assistants were called Paquitas and they were all blonde and white. Xuxa recently mentioned that she wanted to have a black Paquita, but at the time they didn't allow it. So it's really cool that Glória puts the paquitas here all black.
Xuxa was a huge popstar in Latin America during the 80s and 90s, her main audience were children. She has the best selling Brazilian album of all time with "Xou da Xuxa 3" (1988) with almost 4 million copies sold locally. At the height of her career she had a daily Brazilian TV show, a daily show in spanish for the rest of Latin America, a exclusive weekly show in Spain, a musical carreer in both languages, world stadium tours and she learned English in one year for her US daily TV show that was short lived due to her having a health meltdown caused by being over worked by her then manager. "Ilarie" is her signature hit in Latin America, it spent 20 consecutive weeks at #1 in Brazil and reaching #11 at Billboard Hot Latin Songs, mind you, she was a popstar for children. She would famously enter her TV show descending from a space ship, that's why the video has this theme. She still is one of the richest women in Latin America show business. She was loved by kids and by their dads caused she was very sexy and pretty. I forgot to mention she always had a full on movie carreer, she has some of the biggest box office hits in Brazil, mainly children movies. She had also teenage girls who would be her helpers in the show, they grew into a girlband that it was also a big hit at the time, they would dressed up as "band soldiers", so you can see a reference in this video, they were called "Paquitas".

Fun facts, there was a silly urban legend back in the day that Xuxa had sold her soul to the devil, and if you heard her records backwards, you could hear strange messages (all bs 😂)
So when Xuxa shows up and says something no one understands, Gloria has to play the message backwards to make sense of it 😂
Also the dancers are a reference to Xuxa’s dancers called “Paquitas”, and in the video they’re probably all purposefully black, because all of Xuxa’s paquitas were white girls, since the tv network at the time wouldn’t let her hire black girls…
