    Hello Richard
Sorry saw your email very late.
Thank you being our voice especially for people like me who cannot express myself in that manner. Thank you very very much. A big fat hug.

It’s time for us to start a green economy rather than one that only survives if we keep petrol and diesel and gas heating. We need to go totally green and Carbon Neutral, and to end support for gas and oil in our economy.

All I can say is that we should all vote for a different government at the next general election.
We don’t really need a competition type market for our gas and electricity. What we need is for the government to set a MAXIMUM price for essential things like gas, electricity and water.

Nice thought madonsteamrailways, but would new government be any different.

Competition did not work. We are all paying the price for companies that failed. Why as a British gas company customer am I paying off debts that have nothing to do with me.

Well done. Good points. Standing charges, subsidies to aid wind power and protections might have good intentions but the end product is not value to the customer. Also how is it possible that companies like Avro managed to screw the market and the owners allowed to get away with the profits/

Sorry Richard, I did not look at my emails yesterday evening so have missed the deadline. I hope some of us made it : Ofgem needs to work for the consumer or be disbanded. I wonder what the retail energy market would look like today , if Ofgem had never been set up ?
