I actually found your channel because I was searching for the actuality of what we know about history because of the overwhelming misinformation/conspiracy theory mainstream content and lack of genuine reliable information. So thank you again gentlemen for making the genuine easily accessible for all. It’s greatly appreciated.

"...because of the overwhelming misinformation/conspiracy theory mainstream content and lack of genuine reliable information." I'm not sure what you are tying to say - that the "mainstream" archeology/history community is in on a conspiracy, or, that misinformation/conspiracy theories overwhelm content outlets that overwhelm the "mainstream" information.

I think the wheel of awful archaeology is already full and mentioning of Hancock makes Milo twitch and look pained. So better not.

This is an embarrassing lesson, you can basically prove any age if you date things that can't be connected to actual human activity.
It is pretty amazing that Graham believes archaeologists are so well paid they will keep a huge conspiracy and not publish finds that would make them world famous... All archaeologists I know are pretty underpaid and dream of making a find that would be in history books.
He also are trying to claim that "the original builders" of all his allegedly wrongly dated buildings never dropped a single date-able artifact which is ridiculous.

Yeah we know everything because we've dug everywhere right?

@@ettan5812 Far from it, but we can't make things up based on that.
If new evidence shows up we have to re-write the history books and that actually happens far more then people assume it does. A 30 year history book is full of things that have been proven incorrect and have been corrected since.
But you actually need proof to change history and Graham have not delivered any of those. That is the problem and he also ignores inconvenient evidence which is what he claims actual archaeologists are doing.
You can't just say "This old structure look advanced, it must be 12 000 years old from a super civilization". Even if it was from some ancient super civilization which seems unlikely, how could you date it without, you know, dating it?
Find the artifacts, find the proof and we are all in. How many artifacts from his alleged super civilization did Graham show in his Netflix show? It was 0.

My faith in at archeology has been severely dented by the Flint Dibble Graham Hancock debate on the Joe Rogan podcast. Dibble blatantly lied or misled by mis representing the data to ‘win’ against Hancock. I will never again take an academic Scots for anything.

Extraordinary claims of 27000-year-old civilization requires extraordinary evidence of at least ONE 27000-year-old artifact. ONE bit of real evidence should win him a Nobel Prize.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence indeed. The ironic problem though is that we're not even allowed to seek evidence. Prove there's vast underground man made structures there. Okay sure. No no no you can't just check that's cheating. Well what are we supposed to do? *Archaeologists* hurr hurr hurr we win again.

Schadenfreude is misplaced. And as far as I can say you both are not God and all knowing.

Not at all what they are saying.
What they said was: they themselves and many others insantly pointed towards a logical problem in the claim.
And now - after years of ridiculous and misleading pop publicity - the author was finally shamed enough to retract. Even though _"you have no context for your c14-date"_ really is not that complex a problem for any scientist.
And yes, "I´ve told you so" is a valid reason for schadenfreude.
