Hope you’re enjoying looking at your new pack! We can’t see shit you’re so effing far away from your camera 😂!

Would you say this is too big for a day hike? I’m torn between this, the Duradiamond Ajna and the Shimoda x30/x50. I know shimoda bags are insanely comfy for me and I’d prefer a removable hip belt but I already own the medium slope icu. I shoot on a bmpcc 6k pro and usually only carry 2 lenses, which partially offsets the bigger camera body. I’d like a bag that I could bring camera gear and maybe 2 days of camp stuff, but carry ergonomics and comfort, water options and tripod stowage are most important to me as I have a bad back. Thanks!

Hi Jason, hard to say. 2 days of camp stuff can take up some room with camera gear. I'd want the Tilopa for that, I think. I use it only for day hiking. The Ajna would be perfect for you if you taking camping equipment out of the equation.

Thank you for reviewing this backpack. I don't have a backpack yet and do need to purchase one soon. I have a 17" inch laptop so I hope to find a backpack that I could fit the laptop into. Thank you for sharing your info.

Does all the extra add weight?

They actually cut weight with the new DuraDiamond Series. The new Tilopa is 0.3 lbs lighter.
