Is it just me, or the coolest, more humble and talented people in general are tennis players, today? Really, tennis is offering me respite from the bad things in the world, and I don't think I'm the only one. Congrats Jasmine, you are totally killing it! So inspiring to watch you play!
I think there is something good happening in Italian tennis. Look at their output these days - all these amazing players, as sportspeople and as human beings in general. Italians have figured out how to find the right people, and they are training them right.
I'm with you. The players who generally do best, making the top 10 or so, must have a real pragmatic, grounded sense about themselves, cuz tennis (outside of doubles, which is still just 2), it's just you and players can't put losses/poor play on teammates. It's one on one, and maybe the best one that day win. Makes for a real humble quality to a degree, which doesn't mean you aren't also very confident and aggressive on court.
This new generation is special. I’m not sure if it’s the Gen Z effect, but I felt like tennis was missing some humility with the last generation of Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Kygrios, etc. Now we have Carlos, Jannik, Holger, Jasmine, Elena, Mira, etc. and it’s so great to see how lovely they all are. In general I think tennis players are the most humble out of all professional athletes.
not stupid question exist in the planet. simple. Now with regard to offense, thats up to Jasmine to decide... clearly she's smart and positive otherwise wouldnt be at that level. STAY POSITIVE

These compulsory interviews must be really a tour de force for most of the players. They are tired and to have to answer to routine and some really boring questions is a great feat for them and everyone HAS to speak English ?
Why? Short and beautiful 🎾💪😍
Gratulacje Jasmine ! Félicitation you are the best ! Kochamy ciebie on t'aime !!
Remarkably stupid first question. She has a good sense of humor and a lot of patience.
remarkably offensive - no offense
I recognize his voice from other interviews. He almost always asks something stupid, yet very few of his questions are this offensive
Totally inappropriate question, slap in the face, that idiot should be punished for his stupidity.

1/4. Her mom is from Ghana, just born in Poland

How would you even be 1/3 polish? I dont see a way where that would even be possible :D
First time seeing her play, like what I saw.

Jasmine at the end: "It's a privilege to be here, in front of so many journalists, it means I'm doing good". She's loving it.
That first question was embarrassing...
yes definitely! And also quite disrespectful and potentially stressful for her... did he want to stress her on purpose?
