    Wow they look just like a payday. And what an easy recipe. I have all the ingredients so I'll be making some this weekend. I hope mine turn out as good as your's did.       It is surprisingly easy to make and taste better than the payday candy you buy. It’s so much fresher and not as hard.

      No just Planters roasted peanuts with sea salt. Although, any brand would work good. Most of the time I get

    I made these and they were great tasting but a little sticky even after refrigeration. What did I do wrong? I had to keep it refrigerated

      Not sure. Keep them covered and in the fridge for a few days and they will firm up.
      You might have microwaved a little longer than I did(?)
      Make sure you cover or wrap good before putting them in the refrigerator. The
      moisture in the refrigerator may have caused it. Not sure.
      I’ve made this 2 times. And the 2nd time turned out better than the 1st time. That’s when we filmed the video.

      1 1/2 cups of roasted peanuts with salt on the bottom of the pan
      3 tablespoon butter
      1 bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Morsels
      Melt in microwave for a minute then stir
      Melt for another 30 seconds or until melted

      Add 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
      Microwave and stir to blend
      Add 2 cups marshmallow
      Microwave 30 seconds
      Repeat as needed until melted.
      Stir to combine
      Pour on top of peanuts
      Even out with spatula
      Add another 1 1/2 of peanuts.
      Cover and
      Put in refrigerator for 3 or 4 hours until set
      Or leave overnight.
      Remove from pan and cut into squares.

      Note: peanuts on the bottom
      Next layer is the caramel mixture
      Top layer is peanut
      Gently press onto caramel layer.

      Payday Candy
      Spray a 9x9 square pan with Pam spray and line with parchment paper.
      Lightly spray top of paper then pour
      1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts on the bottom of the pan and pat down gently
      (Melt together)
      3 tablespoons butter
      10 oz bag of peanut butter morsels
      Melt in microwave stirring every 30 seconds
      When it is smooth
      Add: 1 can Eagle Brand Milk and
      2 cups Marshmallow
      Melt in microwave
      Stir to combine
      Pour over peanuts
      Even out the mixture
      And top with another
      1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts
      Gently pat down.
      Cover and put in the refrigerator for a few hours or until set.
      ( I left mine overnight)
      Remove from the refrigerator and cut into squares.
      Keep in an airtight container.
      Mmm good
