I just picked up Denise’s book. I am enjoying reading her share her heart about the good times and challenging times in life. Thought it so sweet that they met in high school and still going strong. I love the song, “Remember When” that he wrote to go along with her book. Their mansion is beautiful!
No matter how much money we have, it’s the love, peace, and joy inside that enables us to carry on. May they have that: much love, joy, and peace in their spirit (with the ups and downs) of life.

You know what baffles me, all that space.
The mansion is beautiful and landscape is magnificently manicured, not too mention the cleaning. It must take 10 to 12 household staff to keep it that neat and tidy.. Can you imagine living in all that space. I would not know where to live.
He and his wife do deserve to live comfortably and enjoy the finer things in life. After all they both worked to get where they are today.

Loads of people work very hard, but don't hunger for a big mansion like that! I'd prefer a home on a much smaller scale. Sure Hubby is away most of the time, and how Denise gets her days passed is hard to know! Maybe lots of friends, with a chef to cater for them and tidy-up after. I’ve moved so many times in my life always vowing to go smaller but I would like this, I hate stucco and fake rocks, this house is solid.
I had the good fortune to work as a program director and DJ in country for a little over 30 years. Some time ago they used to have yearly event in Nashville called Fan Fair and Country Radio Seminar. Fan Fair let fans. Get to meet the stars and get a picture. CRS let stations from around the country broadcast live or tape interviews. All the musicians were there. Legends like Johnny Cash or George Strait. And the up and commers.Alan Jackson, or AJ as he preferred had some one on staff remind him of your names your station. He cared about us.Vince Gill was like that. Toby Keith and both of the Judges were total asshats! Alan deserves that beautiful home.they have several grown kids and a gaggle of grandchildren that they cheriísh. It maybe big but its filled with love!!!
His eldest daughter is sadly widowed, the middle girl is recently married, the youngest still single. Sorry dear, but there's no grandchildren yet! I wish all of them every happiness.

That's often the problem with filthy rich people--they have nothing to strive for, have everything money can buy---and often end up on silly "pursuits". You know what I mean. Alan had his "playboy" times too. Glad it was sorted out happily.

BEAUTIFUL. I can't imagine, living in a house, that big. You don't have to sleep in the hallway. The big house, probably seem kinda, lonesome. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ALWAYS.
Yes, I agree, it's beautiful but tooooo big, except there was a large family there. It could be lonesome at night, and I can imagine echoes....bit creepy. After all, it's not a hotel. Good security would be vital for me to stay there. However, they will probably down-size, and I wish them every happiness.

I wish I would have known about and read your wife's book before I divorced my ex husband. We both still loved each other but I let my pride get in the way of putting our family back together. Fancy worldly possessions don't impress me--a good comfortable home is quite sufficient----not "showing off", having the place like a grand circus. I liked Alan's childhood home. I like his country voice. What I detest is big, creepy rambling mansions. Imagine being there alone on a Winter night.....wind howling.....echoes.....spooky sounds. Happy family is what is important--and faith in a God who demonstrated humility through His dear Son. (Who happens to be King of Kings and Lords). Something to reflect on.

No one has mentioned how much good Alan and Denise could have done by donating that money to several charities and causes. I wonder what void they are trying to fill. They could have funded and set up trusts for animal shelters in all 50 states.
He employed hundreds of people for years, to build that. We had to work for the money, but we got paid well to do top notch work.
It was the job, where I realised, even though extravagance seems excessive, the work can feed many families for years..it took over 2yrs to build. Steady 40hr weeks. Job security.

It is a beautiful home.but if i was singing and constantly on tbe road .i wouldn't of bought a home like this personal due to i couldn't be home to enjoy it then swims or fireplaces. Its crazy i would of bought a bus and made it to my liking.i love his music but i just cant spend that kind of money for something i dont have time to enjoy
