    Couldn't find a filming location on the net- at first thought maybe around SoCal all the chapparal and hazey air, but those small little oak forests made me doubt it. Interesting. Also, the rocky coastal shots- OK 👍

    It seems to me, that the over riding type of PTSD I've heard of and encountered with vets, is the overwhelming guilt of having survived. To loose a buddy(s) is a horror one cant simply understand.

    • @MPlain
      @MPlain 2 года назад +3

      that's part of it. It's the how you lose the buddies. Right in front of you. That's the real issue. You never do quite actually deal with it.

      I beg to differ, I believe it's the inability to hide from the danger. Especially when you are at sea! Where there's no where to hide. You are forced to face the danger under that situation.

    It's not "Grey's Anotamy" quality but, the storyline and use of original WW2 equipment instead of fakey CGI and green screens make up for it.

    The director of this movie is best remembered for a flick he directed several years later, "Grave of the Vampire." Very creepy and brutal. And contains perhaps one of the most fiendish rape scene ever shown. Most recommended. It can be found here on RUclips. Watch with the lights off.

    The two Germans were supposed to be launched into the air as the grenade exploded not afterward. Hilariously amateurish. Guess they didn't have enough budget for a retake. Didn't make it beyond the goat scene.
