Yes, that's Haruna on drums. That's also Miho on bass. Both went on to Lovebites. The blonde guitarist went on to form Fate Gear and the singer went to Mary's Blood. The guitarist Saki from Nemophila is also a past Destrose member. If you want a bit more thrashy song, try their song Maze 🤘😊🤘

That's not Eye. The singer in this lineup is Marina Hebiishi. She went on to form Mardelas.

Thank you so much for this reaction video. This band is one of my favorite metal bands. This song is from a fantastic and only concert recorded on DVD. Magnificent concert. It's not their best song. I would recommend the songs Maze, Rin or Nostphilia. I love Fenixx. One of the best their songs. But I love all their songs. Several talented women took turns in this band, who later formed new bands. Lovebites is one of the best metal bands today. Keep up the great work :-).

Captain Mina deserves far more credit then she ever gets. Half of the bands over the last decade who arn't Babymetal and Band-Maid. Come off the tail of Destrose Alumni.
Nemophila, Lovebites, Marty's Blood, Mardelas, Aldious, Albion. Along with Disqualia, Velvet Cherry, among many others. Fate Gear is my favorite of Mina's reincarnations.
A steam Punk Metal Band that screams bad ass b**** from the start! Helps they sing mostly in English as well. Anyway, great reaction to Destrose though not my favorite track from them. 🤘🎸🔥

Their other songs aren't crazily different, they were just way younger and you can hear it. In Japan there are venues where the bands don't have to setup all the gear themselves when they tour etc. This and other aspects has helped them and the scene to flourish..

Please check out their liver performances of Maze, Rin, Headless Godess, etc...
The studio versions are also pretty good.

    "Marina-hebiishi", the vocal of "Destrose"
    Currently enrolled in "marderas".
It's a terrible song, so please listen to it.

This is the best line-up of the band, but this wasn't the best song for them. Marina's vocals at this period in her career had really in your face vibrato. It wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I loved it. Like weaponised vibrato. She's toned it down a lot since then, like in Mardelas.
Anyway, this particular gig is fantastic. Favourite songs from this period of the band are definitely Sky Killer, Headless Goddess and Maze. They definitely show the band's thrashier side.
Also Miho eventually formed Fate Gear after this band broke up finally, and she has since covered several Destrose songs as Fate Gear versions.

So, a band that existed for 8 years, with a total of 19 musicians joining/leaving over that time...
You listen to ONE 4-minute-song, and from that alone, you 'sum-up' "I was expecting so much more..."
Try judging yourself by that minuscule level of "observation & analysis" and I doubt there is ANYTHING you've ever done that would not leave others "expecting so much more...", but that is just my speculation, of course.
