I just got the newer printing of Roots and Wings. The mini deck now comes with all the cards that are in the larger deck. I think she changed the cardstock to make it fit. The larger deck is shorter than a typical tarot. It has a lovely script/handwriting font for the keywords, and the backs seem a bit more muted, more sea foam as the main color.
Great video- just bought the Elizabeth on Earth Oracle which will pair beautifully with my Tarot of Mystical Moments! So,thank you for that, but holy cow there were a lot of ads in this video! LOL
I love the Elizabeth On Earth Refection Decks! I also have all three sets, and hope she continues to create additional sets from new artworks. They are compelling and thought provoking, and so very flexible in the many possible ways to use them. I think they also go well with the Oracle of Mystical Moments (and the Tarot of Mystical Moments of I ever receive it from Amazon). I am very interested in the Healers of the Earth Oracle. I’ve not see that one before and it seems I’ve just missed the most recent Kickstarter which ended 20 days ago. It’s definitely going on my wish list! I do want the borderless edition with the additional masculine divine card, so hopefully I can keep an eye out for it and grab it when it’s available. The system looks very interesting and different. It kind of reminds me of the Enchanted Map Oracle. I also have and the the Roots and Wings. I have the second edition with the handwritten titles. I’m considering also getting the mini a tin now that it has all the cards, but I’m torn because the regular size isn’t all that huge. The Postcards from Liminal Spaces is also very interesting, and going in my maybe wish list.
I just looked to see if I could find a pre-order button on the Kickstarter campaign page for The Healers of the Earth oracle and I couldn’t. Hopefully, there will be some showing up on eBay before too long! I ended up buying the Tarot of Mystical Moments off of eBay and should get it a couple of weeks before the release date on Amazon. Shipping was cheaper on eBay than on the U.S.Games site. I’m sooo excited to get that deck!
Hello! Of course you can! There are many people who prefer using oracle decks to Tarot. I happen to use them to open and close a Tarot reading and sometimes I will just pull an oracle card for a message before bed. I also use them for meditation. There are so many ways to use them! There is no right or wrong way to use them. Just find what works for you!
I LOVE the Veleda Oracle! And the Living Wheel deck is wonderful and gorgeous, though it's true it doesn't give you keywords on the cards. I use it to map out the current sun and moon signs. I wish Cathy Nichols would stop putting feathers on her white-appearing figures in her decks, and things like that. It looks like she's appropriating from Native cultures, and it's not okay. I can't wait for Divine Muses to come back into print again this year, because I need to get it! Your video makes me want to get out so many decks and play with them...
I haven’t thought of the Cathy Nichols decks in that way...I always thought of the winged figures as angels...interesting. It does make you wonder what the artist was thinking of when she was creating. The Divine Muses is precious! Maree is working on a new Oracle deck based around “the magical child” card in her Divine Muses deck...that should be exciting! These videos are fun to do...they also make me want to play with all of my decks!
@@oldsoulmermaid1543 Oh, it's not the winged figures in the Cathy Nichols decks that concern me. It's the "feather in a strap on the head" thing that keeps popping up. Like here, if it will show: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0065/0415/3203/products/IMG_7478_1024x1024@2x.jpg?v=1583937627 And like here: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0065/0415/3203/products/il_fullxfull.1405281228_ebx0_2d551969-8cdf-4ac9-b884-f8ef320e4793_1024x1024.jpg?v=1585575856 I eagerly look forward to whatever Maree put out next -- that's good to know!
I see now! In her Story Cards Deck she has 2 cards with female figures with a headband with feathers and in her Synchronicity deck she has 5, though one is not really indicative of Native American Head dress. I don’t really see a reverent nod to the culture in the pamphlet to these cards and all of the figures with these headbands are white women. It’s interesting that I don’t remember drawing these cards when I have used these decks. I will take these cards out of the deck and see if I can contact the creator to see what her intention was in putting these images in her decks. Thank you for pointing this out!
@@oldsoulmermaid1543 Thank you for looking in to it! "though one is not really indicative of Native American Head dress" -- I agree, it may not be an accurate reflection of it. However, when I was a child (in Canada), one feather in a headband was the stereotyped head gear of most depictions of indigenous people that I saw on TV, in movies, and in storybooks from Canada and the USA.
I should clarify that when I said that one was not indicative...I was referring to one of the 5 cards showing a woman wearing feathers in her hair it was not in a fashion indicative of Native American culture... the other 4 images were. The 5th card had feathers in her hair like a showgirl.
Thanks so much for mentioning both decks! Someone gave me the information to check out your video, so I hope it is okay to leave a comment. If you don't mind listening to a scratchy video, I did a sample reading for the past life cards at ruclips.net/video/JBtLnzPHP2A/видео.html . I can't figure out how to fix my cam so that the sound doesn't come out like that but I will try doing a better video soon. I just pull random cards from the fronts and backs and look at the category that shows uppermost on the drawn card.. But, I wanted to thank you so much for your support for my Kickstarters
You have a very unique aesthetic/collection. Cool video
Thank you 🙏! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I just wish my tastes weren’t so varied, because then I would be attracted to fewer decks 😆
You have a lovely collection with some decks I’ve never seen...excited to check them out!
Thank you so much! There are so many creators creating such beautiful decks...which can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it 😉!

Oh, no! I wish you hadn’t told me! Now I feel the need to get the new version of both sized decks! 🤣🤣

Yes, EOE pairs wonderfully with TOMM! Sorry about the ads. I’m having some problems with my settings 😒
The Veleda is _GORGEOUS_ ! ♥️
First time I'm coming across it, so *thank you* 😊 for sharing.
The tarot and Oracle decks are sumptuous! Bright colors on linen card stock!
I really enjoyed this video =) Looking forward to the indy tarot one :O
I promise...it’s coming soon❤️!
I'm loving these videos!! 😍
I’m so glad! There are more coming. Thank you for watching! ❤️

I'm new to divination and witchcraft! So I wanted to ask, can u read oracle without tarots? And are the oracle good for reading?
