I think that Japanese people are actually very happy when they see Gaijin wearing a kimono, or taking part in tea ceremonies, or enjoying any traditional Japanese customs. And it's also a way for us to show them we really appreciate and enjoy their rich culture. Kairakuen is really amazing! Did you also visit Hitachi Seaside park? That should be nice as well. You look really gorgeous, with or without the kimono ;)
How beautiful. I love the Japanese attention to detail. When visiting Japan, I noticed that the man stamping my passport had selected the first page with space, freshly inked the stamp and made sure it was lined up perfectly. On contrast in the USA, the guy picked a new page in the middle and just clunked it anywhere!
This looks so peaceful! I’ve always wanted to attend a traditional tea ceremony. You look lovely in the kimono and so useful that they can put it over your existing clothes, definitely less daunting for foreigners. How beautiful the plum blossoms are, up there with cherry and peach blossoms!
I watched tea ceremonies in anime before. But I'm really glad to see it in real life as I always wanted to. And I'm really glad you participated in it. You look beautiful. 😍
It's timely that you visited Ibaraki as the anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami approaches. I had been wondering how that region is faring, almost a decade later. I stayed a few days in Sendai on our last trip in 2018, and it looked like the area has somewhat recovered, but there's still work to be done. The tea ceremony feels elegant (I liked that word too!) and enchanting. Thank you for taking us along for the ride! Loved the vlog as always!
Omg you’re so beautiful in that kimono 👘 ❤️ The park is so beautiful (at least the part shown in your vlog) definitely something to put in my bucket list. I’m always fascinated on the “Tea Ceremony” since I was a kid. Maybe I would experience it in my lifetime😊. Love you ❤️💕❤️💕
What a beautiful garden space. The tea ceremony is very interesting. Are there different kinds of tea ceremonies? I remember reading about one tea ceremony in the novel Shogun and loved that everything had a meaning. It was a 1 on 1 ceremony though. Also, is there any traditional dress for men to wear? Is that a thing?
Hey there Erica. Wow I’ve just saw you today on youtube..why I never found you earlier? Anyway happy to see you and found you here..keep up the video and all..stay strong and stay gorgeous always🤘🏻
Beautiful garden. Particularly interesting is the tea ceremony. However, in the situation that every gesture has its meaning, I still have a very strong feeling that I should be the carer tending the need of the gentleman, rather than the reverse, being served with tea by the senior, though I was brought up in a culture that no bowing to the senior is required. It's just my little uneasiness, regarding to the cultural appropriation in this particular case of tea ceremony, about guest-host relationship could be higher in rank before the senior in age.
Oooh, Ibaraki! Gotta go there, still on my list! Thanks for the lovely video! 💛 If you got time, check my channel about life in Japan (not as cute as yours, just absurd )😅
Finally she is giving news. I thought you were abducted by aliens and they also took your ASMR channel away. This kimono fit you so well. Those colors are totally yours. Of course you are a badass! Who doubt about it?
Erica-san, thank you for experiencing my Kimono.
I'm very happy to introduce you with a nice video.
I shared the video on my RUclips as well.
Thank you so much Iwata-san!
You made the kimono look so lovely 💖

I love the small differences like that you can only pick up on when traveling! 💖

Super cool that the local Japanese are encouraging when a foreigner wears a kimono 👘
I watched tea ceremonies in anime before. But I'm really glad to see it in real life as I always wanted to. And I'm really glad you participated in it. You look beautiful. 😍

茶道って奥深い文化だよね。でも畳のチグハグ感がちょっと笑うw 着物がバッチリ似合ってますね。
I'm from Ibaraki.Ibaraki is not a popular travel destination for the Japanese.Thank you for introducing to Ibaraki!
No secret pocket for you mobile phone?!Looks amazing though!
Kimonos always have a secret space in the sleeve where you can quite literally, hide things up your sleeve 😆
beautifull

So all the youtubers are flocking to fukuoka and ibaraki due to the c-virus 😂On a side note, I would love to taste the plum wine😂
Plum wine was soo tasty! 😊
Wonderful! Thanks for the share.... "I feel *badass!*" 😂
Here at 31k subscribers and first video ☺
My God even cuter than usual!

Did you rent Kimono and dress before going to the Park or do they rent at Park?
6:01 you look gorgeous in the kimono dress
超美人。着物がお似合いですね、
Despite the great content, it's hard for me to focus on it , because of You.
You are like Hanami for me. So beautiful.
Erica- what happened to your ASMR channel?
If I may ask, what happened to your ASMR channel? Your silky kimono would have been amazing in an ASMR session. So many great sound to get out of it.
Oooh, Ibaraki! Gotta go there, still on my list! Thanks for the lovely video! 💛 If you got time, check my channel about life in Japan (not as cute as yours, just absurd )😅
Go to indonesia
