“WALK THE BLUE LINE Line is the book that
    the law-enforcement community
has been waiting for. These stories
showcase the courage, the hurt, the
anger, and the joy that can be found in every officer’s DNA.” -Jim Pasco, Executive Director,
    National Fraternal Order of Police
“Offers keen insights into the men
and women who answer the calls
    and tells the stories behind
    those sirens. For anyone who
has ever wondered why they do it,
Patterson’s book has the answers.” -Ray Kelly, 37th New York City Police Commissioner
“An unvarnished collection of true stories
... you are literally on the street with
these officers as they talk about the
most difficult days of their policing careers. Finally, an opportunity for
many of these officers to open-up....
This is a must-read.” -Chief Terrence M. Cunningham (Ret),
Deputy Executive Director of the International
    Association of Chiefs of Police

Just picked up this gem, at my retail job we have a mini library where you can check out books. I couldn't set it down to many amazing stories. It was the first book I saw and didnt hesitate to grab it. Thank you for such an amazing read and to those who carry the shield, for sharing these stories.

I think it was released at exactly the right time. People do need to understand that most of the law enforcement community are men and women who are just doing the job they were trained to do. 99% of law enforcement does their job the right way. It's that one percent that makes it look so bad.
