No one knows the pain of looking for a song that you don’t know the artist name or of a song that doesn’t have any lyrics. As a kid, I would rarely hear this song played on the smooth jazz station. Now, as a 30 something adult, I heard it again on watercolors. I consider myself truly blessed. Now I can enjoy this song for the rest of my life. I totally agree with you. Donald and his Howard University students were all remarkable. Unfortunately like so many outstanding artists, Kevin was not given his full props. I fell in love with the Blackbyrds when I was 14. Will be 62 next month and can't fathom a day with their music. As for "Kings", it is one of my all time favorites by Kevin.
