Yes, as long as your pipe stack is not touching the rubber and it’s not getting hot. Obviously, it shouldn’t be. I would say yes I’ve done them before.
How do you know exactly where the rafters are, so you know exactly where toscrew down the 1x4's? Is it ok to just cut the old metal roof off and sister 2x4s onto existing rafters to beef up my old roof? Drew, im up in Union county NC, near Monroe. Sure would enjoy visiting with you and Paul this coming spring. Maybe a working vacation, Brother? "Bo" Thomas ..... HELLO PAUL!!!!
What he does a lot of times is uses a hammer and punch to go through the metal into the truss then marks it with arrows. If the punch goes through and hits nothing, there’s no truss there.
question. We recently renovated our ceiling in our mobile home. This thing was built in the 70s and at 6k elevation idk how it lasted this long. Anyways. we renovated it (beefed up "1x1 trusses and new insulations w/ vapor barrier) now the fckn thing has condensation and leaks in the same areas. After weeks of painting and sealing I don't think this problem is going away. will doing this to our roof help? I'm new to this shit. maybe shouldn't have bought it...

thxs for sharing...
I appreciate you watching.
It looks like 60 mil. Great job. A few years ago, I followed your method to do an old MH. Worked great. My metal work was not as good as yours tho.
You can also do it with one by six facia and quarter inch boxing material
Hello , cuestion do you think is a good idea to put a wood stove in the mobile home, because my is rubber Rufin ?

Thank you that’s a good explanation. If you can’t find them without poking holes, just use your feet like we do.
Use your feet or do like I do and poke holes in the roof pop lines it’s easy once you get up there. It’s easy to figure out.
What color paint was on that manufactured home
I’m not sure what color all I know is it’s blue and white
Do you have any videos of doing this to a trailer that has a 8 to 10 in raise in middle then back down. Not sure how to deal with that.

That sounds like a tough situation, but doing this to your roof may help.

What's the ball park cost for one of these single wide mobile home roofs to be installed?
Anywhere from 8 to 10,500.
how many years has paul been working for you
Off and on 30 years plus
tin it
Some people would I agree it’s a good option. I think Rubber will out last it in the salty air we have.
Price of materials ends up being more expensive that the whole trailer lol
