I’ve said this on the previous one, Burden, To Bid You Farewell, Harvest, Credence are some of their songs with clean vocals, they have an entire album called Damnation that you will really like, the last 4 albums they have made are more prog rock and mikael, the singer has long left those growls in the past which not many people liked but they are still a great band
Opeth - Master's Apprentices (Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London) Opeth - Deliverance (Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London) Opeth - The Leper Affinity (Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London)... Trust in the Bucket. lmao
Time for some Deliverance one of their best songs/albums. The song deliverance is a masterpiece it's so creepy and brutal at the same time and has the best outro ever written
Some might tell you otherwise, but some of their new material is definitely worth checking out. I'd recommend Faith in Others, which showcases their more mellow, intimate sound. It's also imho one their best album closers.
Oops, forgot to say that (when you decide to react to this one) you've got to do the one live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Amazing to see how well they play live.
T, i think you should to the studio version. Unfortunately Mikael's live growls were shot by this point. In the studio version from 2001, they sound 10x more menacing.
Listen to the studio version of Ghost of Perdition. Absolute masterpiece!!!

His live growls are still lit though
Favorite Opeth song.
The studio version has Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree singing some of those parts. But they nail the singing regardless here.

Opeth - The Leper Affinity (Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London)... Trust in the Bucket. lmao
One of the most talented live bands, their live performances are studio quality.
I recommend The Leper Affinity (studio preferably) one of the greatest metal songs ever IMHO
Time for some Deliverance one of their best songs/albums. The song deliverance is a masterpiece it's so creepy and brutal at the same time and has the best outro ever written
More Opeth...please go down the rabbit hole!
Shepards Bush version of 'Deliverance' or the Red Rocks version of 'Ghost of Perdition' are two awesome songs!
0:55 BITCHEEES! I STOLE BITCHES, FOR THE CAAAAUSE-AH!
The Leper Affinity is a must for reaction
The best concert I've ever been to in my life was when I saw Opeth in Massachusetts, with none other than Devin Fucking Townsend as the opener.
Another beer is probably good advice! This song broke me into Opeth.

Opeth: Sorceress. A slow but very haunting riff.
