At his best he was one of the better keepers in the league. At his worst, he is really bad. He is error prone and drops simple high crosses. Last season he rightfully lost his place to Steele, who before last season was widely deemed as a good Championship level GK. Certainly a risk if Chelsea make this move. High upside but also could go really badly.
