I think the chassis might not be the one that comes from the pack of 2 (purple/green), since it is purple MS and not MS-L. I wonder what kit comes with purple chassis. Thanks for the cool unboxing experience!
I have a bunch of videos in my Tamiya Mini 4WD Kits Playlist. Look for the Upgradability Category for each car. That's a good guide on which chassis to use.

I think Exflowly Polycarbonate Body Special comes with regular purple MS chassis.
Then Internals/A parts from the grade up (pack of 2)

It might just be our particular track setups but beginners have a lot of luck with FM-A chassis in our races.
