I have owned a Fendi Zucca Mama for over 25 years. My bag which is worn from Fall throughout the winter months by my daughter is still in fantastic shape except a little discoloration on the hardware. It is a wonderful bag and I would never sell it. BUT, it is time to gift myself another bag like the Peekaboo. Thank you for this unboxing and listening to your "ahs" when you saw the bag is memorable. Thanks again.
We are like sisters 🤗 my Zucca print wallet was used by my daughter and it’s still in great shape😊 the white pair of shoes in this video I had them for around 16 years, and I wear them every summer, never had to topy the soles like with most of the Chanel and Gucci shoes which you have to add the rubber soles even before you start wearing them☹️

@@cindysfavouritethings thanks! i’m petite so def a mini. i love the sellier leather ones bc of durability but they only come in silver hardware (or at least that’s what the SA told me a few weeks ago). so just saving up until they have a limited edition one with gold hardware.
Oh, yeah, the selleria line is the best in my opinion, I got 2 of them, including the made to order one which I am yet to do the video on. They do seem to only come with the silver hardware, even my MTO one only had the choice for the silver for some reason. Hopefully there will be one available for you soon 😊 be patient and don’t settle for anything you are not 100% happy with😊

That’s really lovely 👍 I bought a bag and didn’t open it for months, when I opened it, there was a tiny little loose end thread which was not a problem, I took a picture for my SA to see, told her that I would be happy to have it repaired, but she exchanged it for me, that’s how exceptional their services are👍

Hello Cindy! I found u from Loki channel. When I heard u had and loved the Fendi Peekaboo's I had to pop over to see ur collection. I too am a Fendi lover! I have two mini Peekaboo's, with many Strap You accessories, and one Baguette, along with some SLG' from years past. As I mentioned to Loki, I'm about to pull the trigger on another Peekaboo. My favorite of my small Fendi collection is my rare Flowerland Collection white python with multicolor flower mini Peekaboo. It's not for everyone but makes me so happy!
I do have one other wish list Peekaboo that I missed out on last year, or maybe the previous year. Much to my surprise and delighted to discover, it's your lizard Peekaboo! It's an absolute stunner! Yeah, I am very glad I bought this lizard peekaboo when my SA presented it to me, I’ve used it quite a few times to weddings and birthdays, it seems very durable and easy to maintain, still look brand new. I was told that the only maintenance I need to do is leaving it in the dust bag when I don’t need it for a period of time, which is exactly what I did. I will update you as time goes along.
Did you check out my video for my Made to Order Peekaboo? I think it’s so worth it for only an extra $500. I was lucky that my also came with a handwritten note from the original designer Silvia Venturini Fendi 😁
Which Peekaboo are you thinking of getting? Don’t let me put you off if it’s the ISEEU, it’s only my personal preference 😊

Fendi is definitely underrated! I don't understand why their resale value isn't on par with Chanel & Hermès.
I'm in agreement with u, the ISEEU isn't my fave either, nor is the east/west. I think it's the construction of the bags.

One of my girlfriends flipped over it when she saw it. That made me happy of course. I shouldn't have been so surprised bc I get compliments every time I wear it 😊
I wonder why they suggested u put ur lizard bag in a dust bag. I keep my python on display, uncovered, with my other bags so I can see them. It's holding up really well.
I have not seen ur vid on a custom Peekaboo, yet! I was overjoyed to hear about the option when u mentioned it. Trust me, I'm going to watch it, I can't wait! When I popped over to ur page it was very late, past my bedtime, so I was only able to keep my eyes open for the three videos I watched and shouldn't have watched until today. The Peekaboo I'm thinking of getting is a dusty pink. What's holding me back is the top handle, the shoulder strap and I believe the plate behind the turn lock bc they are blue. I don't care for the thin shoulder straps so I can leave that off the bag, and I can cover the handle with a Twilly, but if the plate is blue that will put me off. I'm waiting to hear back from them about the color of the back plate. So stay tuned 😍

My SA told me to leave the lizard Peekaboo in the dust bag for storage, to prevent it getting dusty, because of the scales might habour dust, I don’t know how true it is, but I did what she told me 😁
I agree with you that you have to be careful of the color combinations on the Peekaboo, it’s such a classy bag, but I’m sure you will choose well, can’t wait to see it😁
I am also sooo happy to meet you here, you meet a lot of people talking about Hermès and Chanel but not as many appropriate Fendi. I guess you have to own their pieces to learn to appreciate the brand 🤗

Here we are, 2 people from different end of the world share the love for this gorgeous little Peekaboo🤗 I was very lucky to have a really good SA, it was the only one they got in the store. I love Chanel and Louis Vuitton for their history, it's reflected in my videos for their bags, but Fendi is my true love💖 I have a Made to Order peekaboo in my closet for 1 year already, and I still haven't got around to do the video, afraid I might not do its justice. it's very special because I even got the personal hand written note from the original designer, Silvia Venturini Fendi, because mine was the first in Australia for 2020. @@cindysfavouritethings yes when I saw this mini peekaboo on the website (it was on pre order there), I contacted my SA to ask if they had it in store and surprisingly they had just received it (initially I wanted the mini peekaboo in blue python but decided to go for this one instead 😁), I’m a big fan of exotic skins ! I really love Fendi, I’m a big fan of their shoes as well (the colibri ones). You should definitely do a video on the made to order fendi bag you’ve got, I would love to see that 😍
Hi Natalya, you definitely made the right decision getting the lizard, it’s much more durable than the pythons, and isn’t this nude pink to die for 😍 Fendi’s quality is amazing, I’m glad we both love it 😊 I bought their shoes years ago, they never break, so I haven’t bought more😜 I will definitely looking at getting more of their shoes now that you inspired me 😊 I also think exotics are the best, there are unique and one of a kind 😻🥰 I will try to do the video for the MTO peekaboo as soon as possible, because it’s so special, mentally I am afraid of stuffing it up😊

I also accessorize it : I bought a new pre-loved shoulder strap for it that I got from Vestiaire Collective as they didn’t have any strap I liked in store (I got a black strap with white pearls and sequins from one of the previous Fendi collection) because I think the strap provided with the bag is a bit long for me (I’m quite small), so the strap I bought is shorter and larger, and I also got a wrappy from the Fendi Lunar new year collection of this year to put on the handle of the bag 😍 and finally I got 2 samorga organizers to make sure the bag keeps its shape since the leather is quite soft. Do you intend to accessorize your bag ? 😊 Can’t wait to see your MTO bag 😍
Hi Natalya, I can just imagine the strap you got would really compliment the bag, and it’s a really good idea to have the twilly wrap around the handle, it makes the bag look pretty and it protects the handle from oils from our hands. I’m not sure you need the inserts though. I did a fair bit of research about the lizard skin after purchasing this bag, apparently lizard is thin and flexible and strong, it also hold its shape really well. I guess having the insert will keep the interior clean, but I would be very careful not to stretch the leather though.😊 I definitely will have a twilly for the handle, haven’t thought about other accessories. I will try to get to the MTO Peekaboo, but my next video will be another unboxing of a Louis Vuitton bag. I actually bought it more then 2 months ago, because I run into the lizard peekaboo, I had to do the peekaboo first 😊hope you will like my next video, it’s in the pipeline being developed 😃

Oh, sure, with the shoes, I do wear them and most of them are no longer very presentable and no longer in season, so you might not be interested in me talking about them 😊
I did buy quite a few pairs from Hermès Chanel and Fendi and Valentino in the last 2 years but because of the pandemic, they are still in new or almost new condition, and you can still buy most of them. Is that what you would like me to do? Or show the old shoes and talk about the quality from each brand?🤗🥰
Hey queen 👋 I got this bag on reserve in my local boutique and was wondering if the white part of the leather oxidised ( turned from white to yellow/ beige) yet? I have a Hermes kelly in ombré lizard ( same colour and leather) but the white turned yellow 🥲 so I was wondering if the peekaboo will do the same ( different brands treat the leather differently so I hope fendi adds some clear glazing above the natural leather to prevent it from reacting with oxygen to stay white as long as possible)
I have only had this bag for 6 months, it’s too early to tell, so far so good 😊 I’ve seen the ring lizard skin turned yellow from the vintage pieces, so I assume it will do the same eventually? But I trust the quality from Fendi than any other brand, so let’s hope it won’t let us down on this previous piece 🤗😘

Thanks for leaving me the comment 😊 I did fair bit of research on the lizard skin, I wouldn’t buy the Hermès lizard bags, you can check on purse forum, many people complained that Hermès lizard are really high maintenance 😊 but the Fendi lizard bags are treated in the factory, so it’s almost carefree. I will start using it soon and will update you on the wear and tear 😊

@@cindysfavouritethings Yes! Ive also done a review of the medium peekaboo on my channel too. At first it was too fussy for me but I realized it may be because I havent broken it in properly yet. Its hard to maintain if its in a light color! 🙈

If you watched my review for the peekaboo, you would have found that we have very different experience with the peekaboo 😊 I guess mine is from their selleria line, it’s the best leather for the medium size in my opinion, it’s very carefree. I also have the white baguette in Nappa, I actually really like it, and found it durable. But I did spray the bag before wearing it to prevent color transfer. It’s been almost 6 months and I used the baguette many times, it still looks pristine. Maybe the baguette is not as big, and spraying added extra protection?😊

Hi Christine, I’ve had mine for over a year now, it hasn’t changed at all, trying to avoid over exposure to sunlight is important, other than that, I haven’t done anything extra to maintain it, hope this helps 😊
Such a stunning Peekaboo! How is the lizard leather wearing where it folds around the bars at the top of the bag with the closure rectangles? I saw a red lizard at Fendi similar that I loved but I was concerned about the strain on the leather at the angular folds at the top.
Thanks for coming by🤗 because we have been in and out of the lockdowns, I’ve only used it a couple of times, so it still looks brand new😊 I researched thoroughly after I got this beauty(should’ve been before, isn’t it? It was an impulse buy, love at first sight 😜), according to my research, lizard skin is very hard wearing, the only thing to avoid is letting it get soaked in water. So I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you, Fend’s quality is amazing😊
I smeared my lipstick on the top handle accidentally when filming this video, it just came off with baby wipes👍 the only to remember, do not put anything on it, not even leather conditioner like some people suggest on the internet. Just wear it as normal and leave it in the dust bag when you don’t need it for a period of time. I believe this is all you need to do and it’ll last a very long time. Apparently lizard skin doesn’t have the problem with color transfer either, hope this helps😊

Yeah, there were not many around at the time, my SA snatched it up for me because it was the only one arrived in store, and only two in the whole Australia😊 I am also not very keen on the east west style. Maybe ask them whether you can still order it, depending on where you live, you might still be able to pre order it.🤗🥰

Is the stitching perfectly straight on the front of the bag. I saw one yesterday in the boutique and the stitching looks messy to me so I passed. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way since it’s not a smooth surface?
Hi Beth, the stitches are so fine, they are hardly noticeable. I just checked for you, I don’t think they are messy, I don’t think you can make such small stitches by hand in a perfectly straight line on lizard skin, what do you think?😊

I think eventually it will, but that’ll take many years, nothing last forever right? So just enjoy while it lasts. Also make sure you leave it in the dust bag in a cool place, heat and sunlight will make it turn yellow faster. This particular one has a neutral pink undertone, so even if the color goes a bit off, it won’t be so noticeable like the Hermès one 😊

Hi Catherine, I got it from our melbourne city boutique store. It was $100800 at the time, but I don’t think they are still available in store now, maybe check on the preloved market? It is a really special piece, I hope you will find it😊

Apparently there are a lot of counterfeit peekaboos out there, even in exotic leather….. I am going to ask my Fendi sales in Taiwan to look it up, hope they still have it in stock, have to keep my fingers crossed though. You are so lucky, this is truly a beautiful bag!!!❤️
Hi Catherine, it’s in Australian dollars. they only had one in store, my wonderful SA secured it for me, so they were very limited. I would be very careful purchasing pre loved, I agree, too much risk. I hope your friend will be able to find it for you, best of luck.🤞
Morning Cindy, my Fendi SA just told me that they found one in Asia, which is good news for me. Do you still have the serial number of your peekaboo?? I noticed that this model actually comes with pink gradient, grey gradient, and some leather skins are actually blue… I found some photos online, even though the bags are made of ring lizard, they don’t have the cherry blossom effect as the one you have… I know every piece would be different due to its natural characteristics, but I really hope I can get one similar to yours. And the problem I have right now is that I have to pay full price before they can order this bag oversea, and they don’t offer any pictures, so it is quite risky given this bag is so pricey. If you can still find it’s serial number, I think it will help me minimizing the risk of a bad surprise.
Btw,how is the wear and tear of this bag so far?? Any color transfer of color change??? I read in one of the previous comments, that Hermes lizard skin actually turns yellow, do you think that will happen to Fendi?? You mentioned that Fendi has pre treated the lizard skin, any ideas how it was done??

Hi Catherine, that’s great news. I’m away at the moment, can’t check, but I don’t think the number means anything. You should be able to ask for pictures from your SA, yes there are different colors, you need to make sure it’s the color you want. I also heard about Hermes bag turned yellow, but that would take years I assume, I only had mine for over a year, it’s hard to predict the future 😊 as far as wear and tear goes, I haven’t had any problems with color transfer or scratches etc. lizard skin is very easy to care for, I didn’t do anything to it, so far it still looks brand new. Yeah Wendy, it’s my favourite exotic skin because it’s the most low maintenance skin, you don’t need to treat it, it doesn’t scratch, no color transfer, all you need is to store it in dust bag to prevent dirt when you don’t use it😊 you don’t even need to stuff it because it maintains its own structure 😀

Hi Labella, I never even thought about it, just took it out and checked for you, there’s no feet😊 but I don’t think it matters much, because lizard skin is very carefree. I accidentally smeared my lipstick on the bag when I was doing the unboxing video, almost had a heart attack 😜but it just came off with the baby wipe, hope you find it helpful 🤗
I’m thinking about looking for1, would you get an additional strap for it? Color transfer?
Fendi sells many different straps separately but I like the lizard strap came with the bag. It’s not easy to get color transfer on the lizard, that’s one of the good things about it, it’s really carefree, just don’t let it soak in the rain you’ll be fine. I have acquired another very special peekaboo mini, will do the unboxing soon, please stay tuned 🤗

Hi Kadi, the color has not changed so far, I always leave it in the dust bag when not using it. I also protected the handle with a silk twilly, so no wear on the handle. The shape of the bag has not changed at all. Hope this helps 😂
